Women who abuse children 9:31pm on 01 Oct 2009 What is the chance the man in this case, though not the most serious offender of the 3 gets the more severe sentence because of his gender?
As always with crimes from petty offences like shop lifting to serious crimes as assault, rape, murder and in this case child abuse, women always get lenient sentence in the odd chance of being convicted.Women wants equality so let them have it all the time. Why hasnt Harriet Harman complain about women criminals not getting the same sentencing as men? Oh I forgot she is a man hating feminist.

It is strangely surprising how Harriet Harman considers herself number 2 when she does not actually make any decision or in charge of any offices apart from shouting about politically correct token issues.

There is no reason why men are barred from these sports because they are just as capable in performing the routines women can and there is a depth of quality.
Conflict of party and private lifestyles 4:25pm on 10 Jun 2009 I work at a university in Liverpool and there are many Chinese students, many goes to clubbing with pretty Chinese and western girls in their arms. It is student life and you dont have to be the son of a politburo member to enjoy such lifestyle, you only need to be a student. James need to return to the UK and investigate goings on at home.
Conflict of party and private lifestyles 11:29am on 10 Jun 2009 Bo Xilai is no modest civil servent. He is the equivelent of Peter Mandelson in the UK. I hardly consider any Politburo member, the equal of senior cabinet ministers in the UK a "modest" minister. The news about Mr Bo's son in Oxford enjoying the trappings of any privelaged students studying there is hardly news to me.

There is more violent and police butality in London during the G20 summit but the difference is the BBC and western media sees this as an opportunity to bad mouth China to divert their own country's crime on humanity such as the invasion and murders in Iraq and Afghnaistan and also the imprisonment without trial of Muslim dissidents and innocent people at Guantanamo Bay.
Fortress Australia 11:00am on 04 May 2009 Half of all Australians are ethnic Chinese or East Asians. Australia relies on China to buy their commodity and cannot survive on its own. China would not want to attack Australia because many Australians are Chinese and that include highly skilled professionals. Australia should become a natural ally of China and should fear USA. There will come a day in the not too distant future an ethnic Chinese PM running Australia much like Obama in the US.
US and China's verbal duel 3:30pm on 26 Mar 2009 The world need a strong country to counter US hedgmony and the only country in the world that can do this is China. The current economic crisie was the result of US leadership and USA is intent in dragging the rest of the world down to save its own skin. I was pleased China stood up to the US and inform world economies to turn away from the worthless dollars and invest in a international currency because US government and its managment of world financial affairs cannot be trusted. The Chinese is absolutely correct.
Choosing the next Dalai Lama 11:01am on 17 Mar 2009 Dalai Lama want to pick a successor born outside Tibet? Wouldnt his sucessor be regarded by law as a foreigner, ie a none Tibetan? Also being born outside Tibet does not honour itself to be a reincarnated Tibetan god. If his successor is born outside Tibet it further undermine the credibility and legitamacy of Tibetan seperatists.
