Iain Carter's US Open Diary 3:19pm on 19 Jun 2009 The way I see it, golf is golf, sometimes you get the 'rub of the green', so good weather & bad, you get what you get, lets see the best golfers in the world (and im counting all of the competitors, not just the Tigers of this world) battle it out with the conditions and see who comes out on top! If an unexpected champion comes from this, then so be it. Remember - the sun even shines on a dogs ass some days!
England still need Owen 1:31pm on 30 Mar 2009 If he is fit, he would definately be in my squad. If he is half-fit he would still be in ahead of Defoe, Bent & Carlton Cole! His scoring record speaks for itself. If we need Beckham to cross, we need Owen in the box doing what he does best - sticking the ball in the back of the net.
