We've just got this from Mark:

I wanted to also thank you George for your idea about Children In Need. As you guessed there is a reason that money can't be used and that's because all Children In Need money is spent in the UK.

We do try to push coverage for Mark as much as possible from all over the country. That's why he has a regular Radio 1 slot and has been on BBC Breakfast a couple of times.

If you want to get BBC Scotland outside it's region. You can if you have Sky, Freesat or Virgin Media. These links have all the channel numbers.

It's the team here in the UK that update the map. It runs slightly behind Mark's real locations for safety and isn't updated at the weekend because we have to prioritise what we can do during the weekend days.

Mark has breaks from cycling, usually to film or meet some people, occasionally to rest or get a massage. The journey doesn't ever really stop for him.
