I'd like to say I know exactly why Previous and Sign In links were sending people to odd places however the problem appears to have now passed.

Will keep an eye on it in case its a recurring issue.

Both Jake and I saw your talk at the vEvent session you did, I completely agreed with your sentiment.

I would personally like to see sensible adoption of both Microformats and RDFa across bbc.co.uk and I suspect I'm not alone. Hopefully in the not too distant future we can demonstrate a one-big-happy-family product using both RDFa and Microformats.

@vanwebid - Microformats and the various proposals for the datetime pattern issue mentioned above are more agreed conventions for standardised data representation in HTML than a language. See http://microformats.org/about/

Chris entered some HTML not in the comment whitelist, so it was removed. Newlines were left in though, hence the big gap.

Homepage Two Months On 4:53pm on 24 Apr 2008 I seem to remember talk of some multi column layouts...4 and maybe 5 columns of modules or maybe a single column for small screen devices. If you could choose to remove the carousel from the News and Sports module that'd be good too.

Anyway, moonwolf points out that we're not especially WAI orientated or use the aria extensions. Unfortunately much of the good work done by these two groups doesn't make it into most of the end products that impaired users actually use on a daily basis (aria is only support by the forthcoming IE8, FF3 and some other browser that has escaped my brain?). On the plus side, we did do a lot of thinking and arguing about the best approach as well as consultation from a variety of sources.

In fact, a certain Mr Featherstone of boxofchocolates.ca gave us a fantastic tip on triggering screen readers after XMLHTTPRequests. I'll also point you in the direction of our Accessibility Guidelines which is a good foundation to start from.

Can't recreate your bug moonwolf but I can have a good guess as to how it happened. Added to the bug list, keep em coming.

New ways into blogs 1:30pm on 19 Apr 2008 @John_Wright - The comments (and therefore the login service) were tested in Safari 2.02, 2.04 and the latest Safari 3 release. Can you post your Safari version/build number?

@TrueToo - Comment preview will follow shortly. The HTML allowed through should be the same as MT Comments system, although I agree some supporting text would be helpful.
Blogs Getting Better ...Finally 1:12pm on 19 Apr 2008 @Moonwolf - We are aware the profile pages aren't ideal, these will no doubt be focused on after the main comment service is up to speed.

@Beach_Bum - That'll go on the bug list, it should auto add the 'http://' if necessary so you never need to think about it.
