What did you think of The One Show? Guest: Jenson Button 5:44pm on 15 Dec 2009 Heavens I thought as I glanced down at my feet and saw all these flaming carbon footprints!! Now I am told that it I go to the Internet I can figure out my Carbon footprint weight!! Golly Gosh its 5.1 tonnes... what the? What possible relevance can this have... why are we branded sceptics for thinking that perhaps evolution is playing a part here. Who knows if we actually need to worry as we may well be breathing through specially adapted gills by the next century or even have much more sun resistant cooling skins to help us through global warming! More science please but from BOTH camps.
Ban the chuggers? 06:43am on 01 Oct 2009 As far as I can tell Chuggers have few moral qualms about extracting money from anyone - whether they can afford it or not! Chuggers seem to have little in the way of any long term commitment to any single charity, they are in it for the cash on the day. Recently, when pickings in the street have been low chuggers have started turning up at our door on a Friday and spend a boring 5 minutes asking after my well being and then telling me they dont want any money.. its a this point as I ask what they actually do want... its money.... I ask them to go and not come back.. so far so good! Ban them !!!!
The One Show Web Show - Burkas, shorts and wigs... 6:11pm on 12 Jul 2009 I just want to make a general point about the show which has been funny, informative and entertaining .. until recently! Now it is fast becoming a vehicle for an hysterical Christine who seems increasing overwhelmed and overawed by the shows guests.... Adrian who has become increasing dependent upon his written script and a production team who seem to be growing increasingly paranoid and politically correct to the exclusion of any wit or "BBC edginess" !!! First sack the outrageous and witty Carol T... and now Suspend the very "edgy" Singh Kohli .... get real folks and stop getting on the next passing bandwagon and get a team who are not so precious!!

Guest: George Benson 7:32pm on 01 Jul 2009 I think it's time we had Carol Thatcher back after her "sacking" - she is far more fun and had she not been subject of a coup by.... "you know who" we would still have her unique sense of humour and some interesting subjects... why be so po faced and PC?

At least Christine hasn't got over excited this time.... perhaps George isn't famous enough or she is too young to know who he is.

Can we please get real on the "One Show" - your content is getting tedious these days, why oh why is your standard falling?

I hope she avoids be aggressive though! She is often right and is whilst lacking in formal qualifications she has experience on her side.... but is she right for Sir Alan?

Body Tricks: Can you do two things at once? 10:14pm on 16 Feb 2009 All these comments are largely true but no one seems to have grasped that it is ESSENTIAL you sign on for if you don't ... NO NI contributions will be made for you and it will be your loss for your pride! Sign on... you have paid for it... now take from it...

Is it worth losing out on your future pension for the sake of a hour every 2 weeks? Answer, NO
Body Tricks: Can you do two things at once? 7:10pm on 16 Feb 2009 I have over the years been in a position where I had to use the Job Centres - Forget stigma .. you MUST sign on if only to make sure you get your National Insurance payments credited while you are unemployed as you could fall behind if you don't!

If you are long term unemployed this could be a big problem in later years...
