Should there be a winter break? 6:21pm on 09 Jan 2009 Shock horror another player calling for a winter break.....

Players, managers and everyone conacted to a football club are very happy to take our hard earned cash but then go off bleating that they dont get time with their familys at christmas.
I work in a restuarant and if I want customers then that means that I need to be open every night when everyone else is out enjoying themselves. Maybe the guests should just direct debit their cash into our till and I can make the food when it suits me.
FA Cup never loses magic 06:46am on 06 Jan 2009 EVERY supporter can tell you if or when their team won the FA cup but ask when or if there team came third or fourth in the PL then who cares? In 5, 6 10 or 25 years time people don't care if there team were runners up in the league, Ipswich, runners up in '82, so what, we won the uefa cup in '81 and the FA cup in '78. If you check out the club shop they don't have replica shirts of when we finished 5th in the PL, because no one would by them.
If Arsenal won the FA cup this season then without a doubt it would be a successful season for them. If Liverpool's title bid crumbles and they are only left with the FA cup would it be a disaster? I think not.
Liverpool facing test of strength 1:18pm on 24 Oct 2008 Lets face it, the title will be between Arsenal and Chelsea this season. Both have top class players in all positions and great managers.
Liverpool facing test of strength 12:54pm on 24 Oct 2008 Liverpool title contenders????? They are lacking in squad strength although the first 11 look ok. Jamie Cara 'I retiring from the national team because I feel that I am better then I really am' is a definate weak link in their team which Anelka's pace will expose.
As for Benitez, if I spent the amount of money that he has then I would expect to be in with a shout. The only thing he is in with a shout with is being the biggest whinger of the season for 5th consecutive time.
It's time for these overrated northerners to shut up and play up, then, 20 games in if they are still there, start the talking.
