US and China's verbal duel 09:21am on 27 Mar 2009 Since China was bullied by the West and Japan in the early 20th century, to prevent this humiliation happen again China should do what is necessary to defense itself regardless of the world objection. China after all is surrounded by the nuclear power India in the west, the arm to teeth Japan and S. Korea in the east and then Australia, the de facto US deputy sheriff in the south. Looking at this situation, it is imperative for China to have a strong defense. Furthermore, Taiwan and Daiyu island still have not been unified courtesy of the US cold war mentality. China needs a strong military power....
Whispers of the Dalai Lama 10:58am on 12 Mar 2009 Dalai Lama is just a pawn used by the West to try to control China. The world knows that Dalai Lama's so called middle way will never be accepted by China as it will lead to Tibet's independent. Dalai Lama should be realistic in dealing with China. Instead of engaging the West, it is best for Dalai Lama to engage China instead. Currently, there are no trust between these 2 group.

Very anecdotal piece of article. From this article, it is safe to assume that Beijinger is much more civilized than the New Yorker when it comes to queuing in the Subway. You should see in NY Subway, no queuing, it just every man and woman for himself or herself.
Made In China 7:34pm on 25 Jun 2008 Of course one can live very comfortably without Made In China products providing that one is a very rich. Case in point, dress shirt one can get a very nice made in China dress shirt in New York City at around $25.00, if one to get European or American made dress shirt it will cause easily $75.00 or higher. Just a thought.

Fyi, the site is protected for investigation purpose not for censorship. You have very negative perception about China.
