Benitez relishes vital victory 5:24pm on 02 Feb 2009 enough of benetiz approach. his game-plan on the field and the americans/parry / moores off the field are undermining the heart of our club. what we need now is a new owner and a shankley like moment to bring continued success back at the club. rafa's success are one-offs in England. To compete against Man U and Chelsea you need a manager that is better than the rest. Rafa's team is not good enough across the pitch because the manager's is too stubborn to see the obvious.
Liverpool send out title message 7:59pm on 26 Oct 2008 One performance that spoke volumes of the Benetiz way. We looked assured during this game, in a way that reminded me of Liverpool sides past. But there's a long way to go - it'll be Benetiz job to ensure when things don't go our way he can maintain this side's belief.

Just one thing really puzzles me - Tottenham are getting all the headlines on the BBC. I know this is a big story but I do wonder had Man Utd won at Chelsea and went 3 points clear whether you'd still have Spurs as the first story. Though this is big news the fact Liverpool ended an 86-home match streak, went 3 points clear and played very well deserved, on merit, to be top of the table and your headlines.
