@TellyCurator and @baggish - adding a 'films' icon is in our backlog of functionality to add and we are continually working to improve the quality of the cast information
@BrianTho - I have suggested duplicating the calendar at the bottom of the screen to the development team - will let you know what they come back with
@john4703 - glad you've come round to the new pages :)
@Sue_Aitch - Signed programmes are already listed in the iPlayer Sign Zone and we are working to add this and audio description information to the /programmes pages (visit the About the BBC site for more information)
@jostafford - Thanks for flagging. This was a temporary glitch we fixed within a couple of hours on the 17th.
@davidword - You can see what's on all the main channels for the day by selecting one of the channel schedules (e.g. BBC One Schedule and then clicking on the logos to the right).
@JollyFlyCatcher - We are working on restoring the printable weekly schedule view for BBC Four and hope to have it live in the next few weeks.
@BrianTho - Glad to hear you're appreciating the ability to look further back in time than yesterday. Will feedback your other comments re. accessing the calendar from the bottom of the page to the development team.
@joerichards - Thanks for your kind words. I will add clickable TV logo (linking back to the homepage) to the list of fixes. Weekly schedule view is on it's way (see above response to JollyFlyCatcher).
@grammargrub - BBC Four weekly schedule view should be up and running in a couple of weeks.
@pmpepe - Thanks for your feedback. In response to your specific points:
#1: We'll have a think about how best to sign-post films in the schedule. In the interim, we've created new data views which show you every film on BBC One from the week just gone and the week ahead. We will shortly be introducing a schedule view of this data which will enable you to easily see when all those films are being broadcast (similar to this view of today's drama programmes on BBC One).
#2: The calendar does provide the same functionality. We'll look into whether other users are missing the links along the top.
#3: The details which used to appear at the top of the daily schedule now appear under each programme title in the Schedule (unless you select the 'Schedule at a glance' view of course)
#4: Schedule views for genres (e.g. Drama) are already being published (see today's drama programmes on BBC One) and are on the way for formats (e.g. Film) - we just haven't exposed them in the interface yet (for the technically minded there is more information on the various data views at the BBC Programmes Developers page).
@bluedog1257 - Sorry to hear you're missing the BBC Four weekly schedule view. The new site does produce daily schedules with synopses but I appreciate that will require pressing print seven times rather than one. I'll take this feedback back to the development team and see if we can come up with a solution - in the interim you can still access the old weekly schedule view here.
@Briantist - thanks! :)
@FrankieRoberto - you're quite right - something I should have learned in GCSE English!
