Quentin Cooper's week 07:27am on 17 Aug 2009 I am almost severely dissappointed that the presenter of a science programme dedicated to the dissemination of accurate scientific information should get such a basic piece of vital information wrong on a blog from a once proud institution as the bbc, it is clearly yet another example of the shoddy journalism and dumbing down that has inflicted this once noble and respected corportation.
As ANY self respecting purveyor of fantasy fiction will tell you, the Kobayashi Maru test was not the 'trick' opening of Star Trek III, but was vital to the opening of the SECOND movie The wrath of Khan. Perhaps if the organisers of the simulated swine flu scenario had taken a leaf out of Captain Kirks answer to HIS particular test dilemma (as demonstrated in the recent continuity smashing time-bending literal 'reboot' movie) Quentin would have saved a great deal of bother. Then again it would have been a more boring blog

is the most popular news story on the bbc website. according to the same reasoning given in the blog to the goody coverage I have to ask, WHY isnt this being promoted more by the bbc? why isnt the boy in question having his lifestory and his legacy to the history of art being given its own article in the arts entertainments section? Really bbc, after your peerless coverage of the tragic Goody case, this is shabby journalism.

Captain Devo 10:06pm on 12 Jun 2008 I am shocked - SHOCKED I tell you by the sheer ineptitude of Ms Powys grasp of the modern print media.
"Captain Britain and MI:13" is NOT a 'cartoon strip' but a Comic Book limited series. Really, If you cant trust BBC reporters to get there important facts right then who can you trust?

And not only that but you then go and lower the tone of your article by discussing some BBC trust reprort!
