What did you think of the show? Guest: Rick Stein 7:34pm on 15 Jul 2009 I was very impressed with your coverage about GirlGuiding...
I am a brownie assistant guider and it was very nice to see all of the sections right from Rainbows to Trefoil Guild.
However one complaint is that you talked a lot about 'winning badges' - In guiding we do not win badges but instead 'earn badges'. Also nearly all of the girls were 'white middle class' - this is a stereotype of guiding as in reality guiding is more mixed than this with girls and young women from all classes and ethnicity.
Thanks for the positive covourage though :)
