Mourinho and Beckham light up CL draw 2:39pm on 18 Dec 2009 Hi Phil - This is going to be an interesting few ties - not least the Chelsea one.

Beckham returning to Old trafford - it will be interesting to see if he actually plays - but I think he will and knowing him - score a free kick at the end of the game to knock them out.

I predict though the following....Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona, Sevilla, Man Utd, Real Madrid to be the defo's - cant pin down the other 2.

Liverpool will be interesting if there get through.
Supreme Westwood provides perfect Dubai finale 10:06pm on 22 Nov 2009 Hey, Good article - Unfortuantly I was off sick since Thursday but got to watch the golf here in the US.

I thought Lee played a great game today - he went out did his thing and stay focused. I am so glad he won.

Rory did well also and really was kinda down until the 9th hole where he started to get some birdie's and momentum - I think the 3 bogeys yesterday were is undoing. It will be interesting next yeat when he is on the US PGA Tour - alot of network's over here like him so I think he will do well myself.

I would love to see more UK/Europe players over in the US it would be good prepartion for the ryder cup.

I for one know that "Rafa wanted Barry" and "Parry wanted Keane" who won....Nobody.

Rafa is not going to play the guy parry wanted so he will sit in reserves...shame really I like Keane..

Liverpool need to get their house in order, I aint a United Fan, Pool Fan, Chelsea or Arsenal...so I am not having a go...but I liked it when you played attractive football .

At the end of the day any football fan kinda dreams of having world class players at the club - one reason we all play FM or do the Fantasy football every week.

But at what cost - Leeds did this - If you went down the list of names (Ok not World Class) of the talent at one stage when Leeds got to the Semi's of the Champions League - Leeds (Or the Chairmen) were living the dream...what happened Failure - and then now about 10th in the 2nd Division.

Where as I would love for all the best players in the world to strut they stuff in the EPL I dont see the figures working.

I lived in England 34 years and now live in America and believe me the wages they pay these pounced up NFL, NHL and NBA Stars is stupid - makes kaka's wage look poor. But this is paid for by Advertising - for 30 seconds of TV space in the Super Bowl companies pay Millions and that is filtered down.

So I have been told...by many blogs - To win the champions league you get 30 Million, and to win the League you get 10 Million and all that goes with it with Sponsership and Branding - so EVEN IF Man City were to win the Champions League and the Prem Title for the next 5 Years they would not get a return on their money and that is for just ONE player.

Anyhow that being said still nice to see Kaka in the Prem

Good Blog, I was born in the UK, lived there for 34 years now I live in the US.

I get to see the Argentina games every weekend here and I also watched the Club Chamiponship.

I believe that the fitness levels even from the completely Jet Lagged Man U players was still more impressive then the South American's.

Don't get me wrong I agree that they have some great talent in the Latin America region but its the more physical and fitness in which I think they lack - again my opinion.

Liverpool top, but for how long? 1:07pm on 02 Dec 2008 I am not a Man Utd Fan or Chelsea or Liverpool or Arsenal.

However I would find it refreshing if Liverpool did win the League...but I am having my doubts with some drab Home performances.

I think the only upside is that the other 3 teams around them are all having in different seasons so far so...actually I think this may even come down to the last day of the season again.

Liverpool do have some good players...only 2 world class players...you need more depth - just my opinion.

Capello unlocks Rooney gifts 02:32am on 16 Oct 2008 I agree with the Blog, and think Phil has done a good job...not for the first time I might add....although some dodgy bogs have been done also ...

Anyhow, I agree with the post of bicyclecouch...I aint no Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd or Liverpool Fan..I support a team in the 2nd Division..Yes I am a sucker who watches my team in the good ole mud and know the name of the Fat bloke eating all the pies infront of me.

I am England through and through and just want them to win...although it does seem I am convinced that AGAIN we should qualify for the SA2010..I do worry when we actually meet the likes of Italy, France, Holland, Spain, Brazil, Germany, Portugal...or yes Argentina too..

But with Capello my hope is rising again, a man who does not take crap...who does not allow stupid girlfriends who if you ask to name a team outside of the top flight would probralry ask what colour do their play in.

Will he tame Rooney...Yes..is Heskey a good foil...yes (hate to say it - Hey he is 10ft tall 400lbs and still falls to the ground like he was hit by a train).

So the dreaded Midfield question...Stick with Walcott (Beckham for the last 5 mins until he gets his 300th Cap) and have Joe Cole one of the most players I like to see playing for both Chelsea and England..

So Gerrard or Lampard or Both...You know Lampard works well for Chelsea and will continue to do so and same with Gerrard for Liverpool...but for England...No I would keep Gerrard...the Stats do add up with Mins on the Pitch, Passes, Area Covered....and some versilty...so I would if possible..if Not injured go for Hargreaves...I watched this guy and he was actually one of England's better players in the last tournement we got to...

In Defence..Terry and Ferdinand, Rocks....Goalkeeper I still have nightmares about still...not confident.

Anyhow...that's my view...I know it's my view, some people may agree some def will not but that is the beauty of the game.
Robinho deal caps day of drama 9:03pm on 02 Sep 2008 I am a Leeds fan...so really I have nothing to be happy about...we got sold down the river many a year ago.

Football is crazy now, When the first time the Premiership started I was so looking forward to seeing people like Klinsmann, Bergkamp strutting their stuff, now nearly every other player is foriegn apart from the Aston Villa team who could actually field 11 english players.

Is this good for the game...MONEY...erm no...Will it ever get better...erm no...will England improve by having all these players...erm no.

People keep bringing up the Gerrard/Lampard Mystery...why there cannot play together...why maybe it is because they are surrounded by better players in their team and hence they do well.

I am England though and through and want us to suceed but until the teams/league come up with a Salary Cap/Player Cap (Foreign/English) then i see no way forward.

Ok some of you will say...less exciting players mean boring football...but I guess that means we will sacarfice the England team to benefit the club team.

Still - Hey Man City...Hope everything works out for you guys.....to be honest would of love to seen the face of Peter Kenynon when he found out his "We have basically done the deal" had fallen through.
