Map of the Week - Community Life 2:03pm on 01 Dec 2008 A significant cause of community fragmentation and loneliness is the fall in church attendance in the UK. Other studies have shown conclusively that those regularly attending church report multiple benefits, including a stronger sense of community and reduced loneliness, along with others such as increased happiness and longer life.

I am not sure how much difference the specific faith makes, but as someone who helps on the Christian Alpha courses I have often observed the often huge difference a genuine, warm and loving church community makes to someone's life, and importantly, the way in which it bridges all ages, races, and social backgrounds.
BBC iPlayer & N95: Update 12:59pm on 13 Oct 2008 All I can say is, I got a quick and easy fix from a Symbian forum back on the 1st Oct, which took me 5 minutes or less, used only a text editor and winzip, and since then have been enjoying iPlayer on my Nokia 6220 Classic over a 3G connection (it doesn't have Wifi). And the user experience was perfect. And lots of other people have it working fine on all sorts of NSeries and ESeries devices. So the "party line" that it is N96 only is a policy rather than technical or usability decision.
