The political X Factor 7:28pm on 21 Dec 2009 The thought of having to sit through any one Debate let alone three where we may have to listen to various one-upmanship campaigns by Dumb, Dumber and Friend that will continue to fill Newspapers now right up until the next General Election.

I wonder whom will be the Scrip - Writers for this 3 Part Saga of Non-events, and better still after more than 30 Years of wasted time by ALL former British Governments, for really just whom is going to be taken in by anything that they will say about the future?

Yes, I agree but your arguement was that low interst rates are a problem. I agree that, but say they are not available generally.

I dont personally see a need for a drop in house prices to the levels you are talking about but they definately have to drop. But who knows.

Some house prices have come down to reflect the sign of the Times in the same way upon reflection as to how they increase in good-times.

However, what I have notice is that quite a few properties are still being left set at a Fixed-Price, mainly due to the facts that either the Sellers are not in any rush to be moving, or simply because the Owners of these properties have such a large Mortgage taken out against their Homes etc that to reduce to a value below what they original paid in price for their properties by accepting less than their total-repayments cost plus interest would leave them in Debt.

What might happen to the calclution of the progressive Debt surrounding the asking price of any properties should interest Rates rise in the coming months will be interesting to follow, for many will by then be in a Catch-22 position as to whether they should allow their asking prices to reduce, that will inturn see a major further drop in Mortgage House prices, and thereby make First-Time buyer properties more affordable to buy even thought interest Rates may still rise higher.

Also, there remains the Question Employment/Unemployment which will impact largely upon any personal decisions that might be made in still worrying times ahead.

Indeed, who trains the Trainers, or put more bluntly - What do we actually Train any Trainers in the future to teach the Trainees, in the First-Place?

Any Country can only Export in the future what amounts to any "New" Inventions - that will be taken up by enought People normally World-Wide, that can also be adapted for longlivity into the still further future recourse Markets, and can be mass produced cheaply.

Therefore, before we can even think about training the Trainers, we will have to know not just what we need to Train them for, but also where should any such New Industries be built to maximise the up-take for Training forward into Full-Time Employment.

For the next UK Industrial Revolution will have to be carefully planned to ensure any substainable future.

All Roads to deliver these results lead back to the doors of Number 10, for the details of such a venture will require careful planning if we have any hope to get the Unemployed back into any meaningful renewed Medium or Long - Term employment.

However, as always any renewal of whole-sale sections in our inferstructures and whole-sale rebuilding will cost Billions up-front even BEFORE one item is produced upon the Factory floor, and this up-front need makes a complete nonsense of trying to even attempt to introduce "Cuts" at the sharp end, or upon any Factory floor.

Therefore, my Question is - if firstly ans if ever we do get around to deciding upon just what to Train the Trainers to do ( and by whom? ), then secondly and perhap more importantly " Where is the money for such any investments coming from, for I don't see any lights upon the UK Plc's Horizon at this present time.

The general population remain deluded and these delusions are fed by government and mainstream media. People are going to be very dissapointed when they work out that they have been lied to and have lied to themselves. They are unlikely to react well.

I believe the Day of reckoning if it is now today not immediately with us, then it will finally hit home to many People post Christmas and early into 2010.

For the gloom I hear everyday from People I know and many that I don't, ranges from the UK is finish, to ALL Politicians are a complete bunch of showers ( there are many more worse things that I have heard said about ALL Politicians but if I was even tempted to re-produce these thinkings, then this Post WON'T get past the Moderator.).

The time has now come where the vast majority of the total population throughout the UK are more than 100% fed-up with ALL Politicians feeding them Bull-S**t along with utter contempt.

Interestingly they have just moved to taxing those in work (NI Contribs), not those economically inactive, and will apparently continue to do so. Doesnt that tell you something.

Em'. You've have me wondering how it's possible, or indeed sensible to Tax someone only receiving Income Support in State Benefits, for it follows to me that it is far better, and far easier to reduce the State Benefit in Question first prior to handing it out.

For I know that the Government has to find something for Tax Inspectors to do to justify their Wages, but your idea of Taxing a Single State (IS)Benefit just for the Paper exercise of it all, is again all a bit rather prolix.

What anyone can see beside the numbers that are currently either out of Work, or will be made unemployed in the New Year is evident to everyone, and the driving mechanisms that add to what can be seen is also evident in nearly ALL High-Steets, either with the amounts of Shops simply laying empty, and the lack of Shoppers actually buying Goods in those that have remained open of the few, mainly Family - Run buinesses that are struggling to stay open.

The only out-lets that are just manageing to stay afloat are the big Super-Market Chains due to their National coverage and discounting.

Further Shop Jobs will also be lost due to a projected rise in Internet Shopping in the future which involves less outlets in the Public glaze, and a reduced Work-Force to boot.

Private Pensions desruction of the past has got nothing to do with what will happen in the future, for if your Private Pension is now lost then it gone, so anyone in that position will have no choice other then to get over it, for there is NO urgency being shown by either the Labour or Conservative Parties to reverse this Status Quo.

At the end of the Day it will come down as to whether the Company(ies) that we ALL work during our working lifes survive in the future in the same shape as many are today be it in the Private or Public Sectors will go under in some form, and whether you can manage not to go under yourself or become unemployed in the Years ahead after the next General Election.

What we end up with in terms of combined Private or State Pensions will depend upon how lucky each and every one of us is in the future in managing to stay Employed.

There is no point in being unemployed ie: from 50 Years of Age up-wards when there are no Jobs about, and ALL that many now surplus to any worth-while Working requirements and currently all we are doing is nothing better than sitting around like those in the 18-25 Years age group by being Unemployed just waiting to reach 65, after going through end-less useless Turn-Style Training, that simply wastes Public money.

Lets face it, if the UK had enought Full-Time Employment places for ALL its Unemployed, don't you think that we would ALL be in Work by now, for even ALL the Political Parties don't know how to solve this problem since it will Cost more money than the Country is currently printing to re-capitalise the Banks throught Quantitivity Easing to create millions of worthless Jobs just for the sake of it.

Therefore, Cuts in Public Spending, and Growth in the money supply for any additional funded Employments programme don't sit easily together, as its ALL nothing better than a make believe Merry-Go-Around.

The issue of the need for heavy manual labour is one reduced by the way things are now done - which has cut some of the demand for this sort of activity - and satisfied by importing cheap labour or importing manufactured goods. Immigrant labour being another group relatively easy to manipulate. Immigrant labour also undermines local job availablity and increases demand on services overall. Some immigrants are fully entitled to come here.

In your words you have just given the very reasons why there is now an urgent need to reduce the State Retirement Age down-wards, for as you say yourself correctly, what with People having every Rights within the EEC to come and work in the UK, will mean that we will always have a shortage in the future to be able to find the vast Numbers of employment places needed to accommodate both incomers and our own Youths all together at any one given time to find full-employment for.

Even if, those within the EEC might move backwards and forwards, if we find that any Growth picks up here in the UK, we are forever an open door to ALL the unemployed EEC wide.

The reality is an underconsumption of the things being made due to lack of perceived demand.
It's called a credit crunch.

Nobody (who calls the shots) has faith anymore.

But people still need/desire stuff, desire/stuff makers still need consumers.

Both Supply and Demand relies upon someone having the Up-Front Cash or Credit-Rating to be able to afford any Products.

What has happened, that in recent years we have ALL been lead to believe that Growth in everything would be forever UPWARDS, and the Good-Times of paying off your Mortgage on your Credit Card would mean that Credit limits would be forever endless, or in other words we were ALL worth more than our combined worth as a Nation.

The reaility of both the Credit-Crunch / Recession, ( call it what you will ), means that everybodies Employment is being VALUED downwards to the Penny, and in this kind of Cross-Cutting exercise the once untouchable Jobs for the Middle-Classes are the first to disappear, since it is now unaffordable to keep employing People to endlessly wander around Offices with a piece of Paper in their hands trying to look usefull.

In the future, every Job will be weight up upon a necessary and REAL NEED BASE, otherwise Employers will do without fulfilling empty vacant Post.
No more will a whip-round mean an extended liquid Lunch-Break between 11am-3pm, at the Pub near the Office, as the Whip will be applied to ALL/ANY Employees having to carry-out every task of the Office. It's called Value for Money for the Employer to "Cut" their Over-Heads and reduce their Debts, and quite frankly if anyone does not like these arrangements, then there will be a vast Unemployed Pool of so-called Professionals to pick from just waiting in line to take your place.

The desire element levels for something for everyone is therefore Set to grow much much longer in the future.

Is it not the case that those over 65 do not pay National Insurance on their earnings if at work. Accordingly, those older workers will keep the young out of some jobs, the old people have their pensions to subsidise the low wages. They also have tax advantages in that the earnings limit is increased. This is a budget for the old, vote labour, stay labouring.

You are right there are major problems at both ends of the Employment Working-Age Cycle.

For upon the One-Hand the fastest growing level of Unemployment is at the starting end of working life in the 18-25 Years age bracket.
This sector is made up of a cross-section of those whom have left Scohool without attaining any recognised formal qualifcations, and also those whom did aspire with qualifications only to find that their area of level enrty into Employment is over subscribed. Hence the reason why in a down-turn unemployment in this sector is set, and will continue to rise.

The Governments response to this to keep sending those that have been Unemployed for more than 6 Months back on to Training - Courses just to keep them off of the Streets doing randomly what can only amount to useless Turn-Style Courses, then back on the Dole for another 6 Months, and so on... etc: etc:

At the other end of the Working - Life scale daffy David Cameron has pledge to RAISE the State Retirment Age if he win the next General Election, when given the growing amounts of our Youths remaining or becoming Unemployed will continue to grow, for the longer you keep Older People at work and in any Employment in any Full-Time based Jobs, then Youth Unemployment will simple continue rising.

The problem with some older workers is that because they don't do any hard labour intensive Manual Work then these older workers will gladly work beyond the State Retirement Age, for I have yet to see anyone that doe's Heavy Manual Work such as Hod-Carriers on Building Sites or Permanent Way Staff on the Railways working beyond 65, for in truth those people that work in trades that includes heavy MANUAL work are well and truly KNACKERED long before they reach the Age of 65.

Therefore, as we are being told to brace ourselves for yet another 1 Million Jobs to go in the Public Sectors after the next General Election, which will also mean that the spending power of these incomes being drastically reduced, then we will also be seeing more further redundencies in the Private Sector also due to there being even more reduced demands for products.

The ONLY Short-Term fix to create Employment is to REDUCE the State Retirement Age DOWNWARDS to 55 Years if only to give our Younger Generation any chances to step onto Lifes work ladder, otherwise we are going to end up with another lost Working Generation, for why is it acceptable to pay our Younger Generation State Benefits to never ever have had any Full-Time Employment when this same money can be spent on those whom had worked Heavy Industry all their lifes and many from the Age of 16 when we can allow them the choice to Retire early ( if they want to) making their current Jobs vacant for the 18-25 Year olds Plus.
