Amanda Knox's mum 6:19pm on 22 Dec 2009 Yet again there is one topic post and two subjects - Louisa is it beyond the bounds of your capabilities to do 2 posts? All you have to do is think up a title for the single line about the vicar, like "Is it OK for those in need to steal?" and post it.

It's not like you are inundated with responses is it? Perhaps you might get one or two if you could be a tad more bothered...

In a democracy, if the law is not in accordance with the wishes of the majority of the people then the law must be changed. Sadly though the political parties do not make manifesto pledges in accordance with the actual wishes of the people. If they did, Mr Hussein would have our blessing, the burglar would be doing a ten stretch and we would the death penalty as the ultimate sanction under the law.

Can't you? Try reading the article that is the subject of this blog post - it's the part where she says she feels "wretched" about letting her son down by forgetting his needs (even when reminded other parents) because she was too preoccupied with her own activity (whether this activity was for work, pleasure or a moment's madness we know not, since one can't tell from the way she's written it *why* she might have been "running around a field in Woking pretending to be a super-hero").

However, for all the article is poorly written, it is clear that she gave a specific instance of how they, she and the father, are not coping parentally and stated that she felt bad about it.
Victoria's Week 4:37pm on 01 Dec 2009 I suggested she should stay at home:

a) To look after her children rather than go abroad for work since in her own words she clearly states she hasn't been able to manage as a parent with her regular work here in the UK.

b) The draw in South Africa is a raffle which doesn't require anyone to travel in order to report.

c) If the BBC has a once in 30 years opening to report from Zimbabwe then there is a duty to send a correspondent with the PROVEN ability to bring breadth and depth to the quality of reporting as well as a proven ability with the written word and television journalism. With respect to Victoria Derbyshire - she only does fluffy tabloid RADIO - the geo-political and socio-economic conditions of Zimbabwe are not exactly her forte whatever the output method.

I stick to earlier point - there is not earthly reason why Victoria Derbyshire should be making this trip. It is absolutely bogus.
