This is NOT an Islamic country (yet!)

I travel between the UK and Paris weekly on Eurostar, Do you think I would get through security if I wore a balaclava and said that it was because of my religion????

I have just finished reading a book by Gene Hunt (sorry, Philip Glenister!) and he said that while they were filming 'Life on Mars', there was one scene where they needed Curly Wurlies. Apparently a collector of chocolate bar wrappers contacted them as he had an original wrapper. They bought a curly Wurly to go in the original wrapper and it was about 25% smaller!!

So if Gene Hunt says they are smaller, they must be!!!

Have you seen any surprising badger behaviour? 8:11pm on 26 May 2009 My wife and I live in a village in Wiltshire and we have 'Giggling' Badgers in our garden! I have not heard them as I work away, but my wife has said that on many occasions at about 2am, two Badgers 'play fight' on the front lawn and they sound like giggling schoolkids!

We also have a squirrel that buries nuts in the lawn, but the Badgers dig them up!

she has also met a Badger face to face on a track one day while going out to bring the horses in! She said she was as surprised as the Badger was!

We do also see a lot of Badgers in Wiltshire which have unfortunately been hit by cars.
Reaction to disasters in China and Burma 11:08pm on 14 May 2008 Burma. OK, the Burmese Government, for wahtever reason, do not want any assistance from the west, particularly from the USA (and on their track record of invading other countries who can blame them!!), so, fair enough, they can manage on their own, get on with it!

China earthquake. Now maybe it is just me, but I suspect that the only reason China are being so open about this earthquake is perhaps, just perhaps, they dont want anything to upset the 2008 Olympics....

Or am I just being an old cynical b***rd!!!
