Liverpool's elusive 'Man in the Sand' 5:52pm on 18 Mar 2009 So, in summary, G&H have a bad relationship and 'The Man In The Sand' wanted to buy them, he put a bid in and then decided to pull out. So he didn't buy the club.

I don't get it, what is so radical about this blog? What am I missing here? It's not exactly a big secret that G&H are prepared to sell for the right price. Which again leads me to ask what is the point of this blog? What are you trying to achieve?

There have been too many of these stories recently that serve only to try and de-stabalise the club and its fanbase. I can already hear the journalists taking this article to Rafa and asking him pointless questions about 'what ifs'.

Mr Bose I ask you, seriously, what was the point of this blog? What are your intentions? It is a non-story as far as I'm concerned.

It reminds me of a couple I saw once on GMTV. They were moaning and moaning about how difficult their wedding day had been, car problems, food worries etc etc. They still got married, on the right day, at the right place, at the right time and with the right meals afterwards. It was a non-story, simply used to fill time on the show.

That is all this blog is. It is a well known fact that G&H will sell if someone comes in with a decent offer. I'm sure that LFC are not the only club this has happened to over the past 12 or 24 months.

I look forward to seeing if you will reply, not only to my comment, but also to the numerous others on here making a similar point.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the game. This is the first time I've read a blog by you and although I have different opinions from yourself I did really enjoy your article. It's well written and interesting.
Much to learn from Madrid masterclass 11:27am on 12 Mar 2009 I can understand a match being exciting because there are a huge amount of chances BUT to write this after Real got taken apart by Liverpool just seems a bit daft.

There are some really good Championship games where it can be end to end and chance after chance - and you can be sure that some of the defensive displays are probably stronger than in La Liga.

I just fail to see how La Liga can be the most exciting league. At the moment I'd say it is the Bundesliga simply because there are 5 teams within 4 points of each other at the top of the league. But, as commented before, the skill level is that much lower than the other top European leagues.

The schoolboy-esque defending of some Spanish teams just infuriates me rather than exiting me, it only serves to flatter some of the attacking players too.

Just my opinion mind and everyone is different!

Interesting article, I posted some thoughts earlier in the day (http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A40439603) in which I suggest that the City takeover has finally led to an insanity in the transfer market. Scrap the window, cap salaries, just do something to end the madness!!
