Firstly: if this has to pre-moderated can they not do something useful like weed out the illiterates and the caps lock lovers.
Secondly: The reason why Hull taking Owen is a greater risk than United taking him is that he would (probably) want a higher wage there to assuage his ego and even if he took the same deal he would be using up a greater proportion of the funds available for wages.
Thirdly: Two of the reasons that overseas players are going to Spain and not here are 50 per cent tax rate here against 23 per cent there and the weakness of the pound against the euro.

It has been clear for a couple of months that Setanta were going under and the VAT problem just made sure of it. If the Premier League had left it much longer they would have lost money as they would have been looking desparate trying to sell the rights with a couple of weeks left till the kick off.
Anyway lets make sure that ESPN go the same way by not buying their subscription and nipping to the pub when their is a match you want to watch

He is an extremely talented player who if he had ever cut himself off from his brothers and picked his lip up would have won a lot more than he has. Secondly Wilkins has never been accused of speaking perfect english, or no more than Ron Atkinson anyway

Superhero needed to sort out Scottish game 5:10pm on 13 May 2009 Not being scottish I probably shouldnt have an opinion but for what it is worth I think that you have far too many clubs for the size of the country, this along with the old firm spreads the support thinly making it difficult to attract big enough crowds.
Removing the split would make sense but I would not worry about the old firm coming down here as it just wont happen, at a time when the dissolution of the union is getting nearer it seems bizzarre that in the sporting world t his would go the other way
