Talking drink 12:38pm on 27 Nov 2009 What did Nero do when Rome burned?...........eh FIDDLED! Seems to be an operative word when it comes to our captains of politics with various meanings. Looks like the good ole' drink lobby or whatever pressed on that sensitive place....I'm guessing a few will not run short @ Xmas / New Year...allegedly that is!
Getting on with it 12:54pm on 25 Nov 2009 Missed its mark, just how many ex-pats south of the border have been exploiting the progressive programmes now in place in Scotland. These paracites will just move on when the feeding trough becomes empty! Scotland mugged again me thinks!

Making the changes 7:15pm on 04 Nov 2009 They were caught cheating the system, but then they really are just a bunch of hypocrits. I'm quite sure there be some who wipe their brows as they came close to milking the same cow. Nothing short of custodial sentences would please me but fat chance! I wonder just how detailed these investigations went, personally not far enough I'm quite sure there's more hidden from UK public. And nepotisim is alive and kicking in all walks of political / civil servant walks of life! Either mumzy or daddy is some sort of envoy in a nice cushy overseas job!
Breaking up the banks 12:49pm on 04 Nov 2009 Guy's the time has come and past let's either put what little money we have left and declare our independance politically, comercially and whatever else! We'll either flourish or be bailed out by the World Bank and have our third world status confirmed!

The strategic significance of Salmond's speech 12:25pm on 19 Oct 2009 What was Mr Salmond talking about re-Westminster Hung Parliament, I think the operative word here might be 'HUNG' but I'd add in 'DRAWN' & 'QUARTERED' for good measure! I can just imagine the Westminster skull duggery / carvery going on's to spoil Mr Salmond's wish list of MP's
Count it, don't follow it (redux) 12:43pm on 13 Oct 2009 Given the right climate (incentive) the whislte blowers eventually spill the beans. I hoping the UK public back-lash will not give any major party preference over the other, lets have a truly hung parliament. Albeit the operative word here is HUNG! then perhaps DRAWN & QUARTERED! With heads stuck on London bridge spikes!
