Smith thought she'd be cleared 4:42pm on 30 Mar 2009 I would happily "sacrifice" my career if my wife could get me £40 k as her "assistant" -its all very whiffy isn't it?
Fred Goodwin to receive £650,000 for life 12:03pm on 26 Feb 2009 Whatever it takes - even an act of parliament this mans pension AND all his assets must be seized and his titles revoked. Unfortunate as it may be to stick him and his family into council accommodation but until a shocking example is set to all the other masters of greed then they are all laughing at the destruction they have wrought not only to this generation but others to come. Surely a zero tolerance to bonuses and pensions that exceed the lowest paid worker in any organisation must be put in place - IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!!

What price for a masterpiece? 1:44pm on 14 Oct 2008 beautiful as they are its "the kings new clothes" syndrome for everything that the taxpayer has to fork out for - unrealistic pretence because state subsidy is a bottomless pit to those who would critises any dole scrounger while bloating their own estate- is the duke serious in wanting 100 million?? if our heritage is really important how come the privileged titled few who have benefited from their ancestors looting, royal patronage, land grabbing ways feel this is still appropriate in the 21 century.
if the cost of these is genuine then perhaps damien hurst( oh great one) could give the guy a few pickled cows in fair exchange?
