I walk Sparky's dog every Tuesday and Thursday evening, and she told me he plans to put Tevez at centre-back, Bellamy at Left-back, Santa Claus on the wing, Bojinov in goal and Robinho as a lone striker.

Cos who really needs proper defenders, midfielders or keepers anyway? Nobody wins titles with them do they...?

Fair enough, you could argue Given was a good signing, but by the time the team is gelling in 1-3 years time, he'll be old, past-it and plying his trade with Leeds Utd in League 2...

I always thought it was the relegated clubs who achieved promotion.

Bramble is genius. He always was, he was just sharking so his mates could buy him on Fantasy Prem for next to nothing, then he starts playing awesome!

Delap is there to hurl the ball at bramble with his massive man-strength, the deflection from which leads to a goal every time, from anywhere on the pitch...

Don't get me wrong, but the only way these guys are going to get any profit from this reckless spending is to win the league / Champs league / F Cup treble for around 10 consecutive seasons.

As a united fan I obviously love seeing City fail. But as a football fan, I sincerely hope the bubble bursts much sooner rather than later.

- The English leagues are probably second only to the Germans in terms of a greater lack of diving. Try watching a game in Brazil or a Spanish cup tie between lower-league teams. It's disgusting how much cheating, diving and moaning goes on in other countries. In fact, it's the reason I stopped watching football Italia a few years ago - the Italian league practically invented diving!

The difference is, over there it's accepted as part of the game.
