BH LIVE COMING SOON 1:48pm on 06 Jan 2010 It's snowing quite heavy where I am again now.
I keep finding myself manically checking the London Underground's website for service reports...so far seems ok for me. I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones that I only have a short journey ahead of me.

But I'll be the quiet, shy, thing who's dragging her mum up with her *because the only other person she knows who would come lives in Nottingham* :P

I spend more time on Twitter than blogs/forums...less chance of inane prattling...although I do give it a stellar try on there.

I'm trying not to worry about the weather, as it's finally started snowing here in Essex/Greater London area...so I hope the trains will all be working fine for Thursday :/
Umm, yes, that means I'm going...won tickets from the mobile competition...almost didn't answer my phone, cause I didn't recognise the number.

And of course, appreciate the response to all the comments...it was very interesting and helpful to read.

Personally, me and the writing partner only entered as a last minute thing, writing the script in a matter of days - we were too busy being chuffed with ourselves for actually finishing something and writing our very first script, to worry; seriously; about getting shortlisted...let alone longlisted. It was nice to know that we can actually work to deadlines.

That said, I think we'll return to our regular domain of books for now - maybe another opportunity will grab our attention and we'll be more ready for it next time.

On, a side note, I did actually include an SAE with our script but I imagine it won't be returned, right?
CBBC Competition 6:45pm on 10 Jul 2009 Well, I don't expect feedback in any form a all (surely they're too busy for that!?!) but a nice standard 'sorry, but no' rejection message I wouldn't mind...probably be waiting a long time for that, if one's coming...darn me for having a surname starting with 'Su' *shakes head*

Seriously though, it's just so hard to try and concentrate on other things (like should really be writing or drawing) when all you have is this niggling worry about the contest. Oh well, hopefully be told a definite 'no' (which is what I was expecting anyway) soonish.

Oh well, better try and focus I guess...sorry for prattling away and clogging up the blog.
CBBC Competition 3:00pm on 10 Jul 2009 Does anyone know if they're going to let entrants know either way?

I'd just like to get a 'yes' or 'no' message personally. I always feel a little bit depressed receiving a 'no' but it's better than the contests I've entered where I've had NO contact whatsoever, they usually kill me afterwards.

So I'd love just a little message just to put me out of my misery....please?
