Football's forgotten superstar 11:48pm on 11 Nov 2009 Roberto_Mexicano, the MLS is not as bad as your making out, I've seen Becks struggle in some games and he still gets a game for England. Conference, no way, maybe League One is a better comparison. The English leagues are not as great as all you English think. People say there are only 2 teams in Scotland, well I have not see anyone but United or Chelsea win the league in a long time and this years going the same way. Look at the Prem's teams in Europe this year, LIverpool struggling, Everton getting pumped rotten. The Prem is not all that.
Froch's rocky road to recognition 9:22pm on 16 Oct 2009 I'll be watching the fight here in the states, just got a free Showtime trial, perfect timing. As a Brit abroad I am fully behind Froch, over here all the Americans are predicting a Dirrell victory. I watched Froch's win over JT and it was one of the most gutsy performances I've ever seen. Froch is a bit cocky but most Boxers are. He's beat two excellent fighters, JT has a great pedigree, he beat Hopkins. We need to all get behind Froch like all the yanks are getting behind Dirrell. The great thing about this tournament is we will find out alot about the 6 fighters, there is no hiding or running away anymore.

Barry saga leaving a sour taste 6:50pm on 05 Jul 2008 Just because a player is English it automatically bumps an extra 5 million onto any fee. Rafa is showing double standards by demanding so much for crouch yet not putting up the money for Barry. I struggle to believe the amount of teams that have overpaid for Crouch time and time again. Anyways is Barry even better than Alonso? There is not much in it. This one could turn uglier, especially for Barry now he's burned his bridges at Villa Park. O'Neil is a man you don't want to cross.
