How did Phoenix Four do it? 4:45pm on 11 Sep 2009 If nothing illegal was done then it's high time that the law was changed, retrospectively if possible. I'm sure that it would be possible - and just as sure that nothing will be changed.

an elephant in the drawing room, so huge it has become invisible to the naked eye until illuminated by the
high powered Preston searchlight. Many thanks Robert. But "Hack" is not the ' mot juste' to describe one of
the finest writers of our generation, who is also one of its most effective journalists. If anyone else had dared to
use it to describe R. Preston I would have been strongly tempted to give them a good thump.

The BBC is flawed by human weakness, as are all our national institutions, but it has as much integrity as the best of them, and more integrity than many. Let's hang on to it . The old adage about frying pans and fire
springs to mind.

The guy who wrote the FBI letter was Robert Mueller. the same guy who was in charge of investigation into the
Lockerbie tragedy. The guy who presented the questionable evidence that convicted Megrahi. No
wonder he's in such a fury. Seems to me he could be more scared of further investigation than he is angry at
Scotland.

The guy who wrote the FBI letter was Mueller the very guy who was in charge of the investigation of the Lockerbie tragedy. He was the one mainly responsible for the accusation of Megrahi. He may well know nothing about the trial but knows everything about the questionable evidence that he provided to ensure
Megrahi's conviction .

penalty charges on overdrafts and credit cards and boasts that its profits have soared to £37 billion. No
Government or Bank is too big and powerful to fail - sooner or later. Wonder which will fall first.

ourselves a democracy but our Electoral system is undemocratic. It's a rotten system when less than 20% can
have representation in our Parliament.

Delminster, you're a lot more trusting than me. I wouldn't trust any of that quartet with a fiver. The Banks will
continue to commit usury with impunity. The only way to kickstart our economy would be to legislate
against the infamous high rates of interest charged on Bank Loans and Credit Cards. Monday morning's
meeting will be just another expensive farce to divert attention from the real cause of our distress - Banks
untramelled greed.
