ramsey is going to be quality, but surely training with wenger and arsenal will improve him more than playing with the cloggers of the championship. considerably less chance of burnout!

as for arsenal signing him, i think emmanual-thomas will be england regular within 5 seasons, not to mention eastmond or frimpong. oh, and alex song is only 21 and improving at a fantastic rate!

arsenal is still a football club run on behalf of that club and the directors have taken ZERO dividends out of the club in the last 10 years.
that's ZERO. no divi's, no management charges, only standard renumeration.

Barnes gamble was doomed from the start 2:38pm on 09 Oct 2009 good example of great former player not making it as coach. blame the chairman, for sure. sacks previous manager who had relative success and proven track record and/or didn't replace him with either up and coming manager (such as gary brabin who did well at southport and cambridge) or someone with previous success at that level.

Arsenal will not miss Adebayor 12:15pm on 16 Jul 2009 i must be the only arsenal fan i know who wants him to stay. he is the most unpopular player i have ever come accross. i would say it is down to his agent who encouraged public utterances last summer to increase the pay rise when it appeared the player had little intention of leaving.
as ever, arsene knows and the lack of public statements of support show the players days are more than numbered. no doubt we'll unearth another gem for a fraction and adebayor can warm city's bench before dissapearing into obscurity!

No point crying 3:08pm on 07 May 2009 good luck in the future as i've really enjoyed your blog this season. what i would say, and something you've alluded to in previous blogs, is don't be afraid to drop out of the league. oxford and cambridge had over 17000 supporters between them on the last day of the season and afc wimbledon nearly 5000 getting promoted. as exeter showed this season, the gap is wafer thin.

The biggest events, for the largest number of people 10:38am on 10 Mar 2009 as always a fairly spurious arguament. do tennis fans only want to watch wimbledon, cricket fans only the ashes, golf fans only the open, motorsport fans only F1? with free to air that's the only choice available. as a cricket fan i want ALL tests, including other nations, and the 20-20.

also, the days when the BBC had the best coverage are long gone. they never even used to put the score or time on screen during live play!!!

as the man said, SS1 is the channel of choice, not BBC1
