Louis Saha is already world class. Injuries may have blunted him but when fit he was one of our best three players alongside Rooney and Ronaldo.

By the way I know a few Liverpool fans who did say it was largely Houllier's squad that won the champs league even at the time. In fact many were calling for his head then after their pathetic showing in the premiership that season.
Benitez under spotlight after Champions League exit 3:06pm on 25 Nov 2009 I'm glad they are out. I think the likes of Benitez are bad for the game in this country to be brutally honest. No doubt he will whine about not having the money to buy new players despite having spent more than United nett since he joined the club (and that is before we sold Ronaldo). Where are the youth team players coming through the side? Everton, United and Citeh have all brought youngsters into the side from their youth set up but Liverpool seem to have totally neglected that side of the club. He could have got these players in for free.

This is a team that produced Gerrard, Carragher, Fowler, Owen, McManaman in the past and a few other talented players besides. I hope he gets sacked but I'm sure the owners can't afford to or have the wherewithall to provide a suitable replacement. Even Wenger has started bringing English players through. Liverpool have become a club of mercenaries who see it as a staging post to Barca and Madrid. Good riddance. Hope the slide continues - no disrespect to its fans.

Yeah it does, especially that political group. I'm sure the Crystal Palace supporter would have agreed with his deportation though. As it was, he was correctly dispatched. The "supporter" that is. I didn't realise he was a member of the NF - King Eric should have been knighted. Obviously being a legend for United is a greater honour though.
New dad Rooney born to star 3:48pm on 04 Nov 2009 I don't think Nani is as bad as people say he is - not even on last night's performance. He has great skill and a tremendous shot but his confidence has suffered as a result of playing on the left as a right footed winger. Also I think expectations were high after Ronaldo left that he would replace him which is of course impossible.

Valencia I like - he has strength, pace, a great shot, a good tackler and has a great engine. However, he is very right footed and he is more predictable in his runs which can be positive as it makes it easier for the team to interchange with him but also easier for defenders to defend against. He is not as good technically as Nani I don't think but his other attributes have made him more effective.

However you should remember that Nani is 2 years younger so more allowance can be made. His performances for Portugal have suggested he has the ability he just needs to raise his head when playing. I actually think in flashes he can be quite brilliant which makes his dips in form that much more frustrating because you knows what he is capable of.

I like Obertan but its too early to predict whether he can replace Nani.

Finally Nani is 100 times better at celebrating a goal than Valencia.

BBC Sport's fuel-adjusted Abu Dhabi GP grid 6:04pm on 31 Oct 2009 Ah sorry I hesitated before entering that post lol as it seemed a bit basic an answer. I wonder if the track is a lot lighter on the tyres than other circuits so they feel more confident about them lasting. But your right its a little strange that all drivers are going with the longer strategy. Maybe they are giving their teams a break after a long season!

Anyone outside the top ten can adjust their fuel load. Those inside the top ten can't. I'm thinking they are going for a one stopper and hoping the two stoppers get caught in slower traffic.
