Another gaffe 10:55pm on 07 Oct 2009 May 7th 2010 we can all say we heard the news of the new PM from Nick in 2009! The real question is, how many more BBC employees, if any, will let the cat out of the bag before the election confirming that Cameron will be the next PM?
The axe begins to swing 10:24am on 18 Sep 2009 We thought we were in the deep Brown stuff already, but you really know when things have gone wrong when Labour mention cuts and then start to look for cuts, the Tories should keep quiet a while longer as you cannot help but think there is soemthing labour have been hiding, like the black hole within the black hole perhaps? The real time of dread will be one week after the general election when Cameron has to tell us the truth of Labour spending over 12 years, still Brown's example can be used by politicians for years to come, socialism is a failure and Brown will be one of the biggest failures as a PM in our national history! We need an election sooner rather than later as everything the Pm touches lands us in the Brown stuff!
Honesty: The new battleground 1:53pm on 01 Jul 2009 Labour and Mandy seem to be going to great lengths to dress up and hide the data requested, the simple solution is to hand over the data George wants, as Labour tell us it's in the public domain already. This childish and petty Labour government just don't get it do they? As a hard working tax payer I think I might like access to this data to see where our cash is being wasted, sorry spent. Or is that the real problem for Mandy and his cronies, if this data was presented in a format the oiks who pay for this nation to tick could understand the Labour party would be found out even sooner and unable to remain in office for even less time than the end of this present term?
Kitty's curious resignation 2:24pm on 18 Jun 2009 Perhaps its a clever plan from the Blairites to cover their tracks, they will be standing down from Labour but coming back as another party, perhaps its the SDP all over again!
Name in the frame for No 10 communications director 09:55am on 16 Jun 2009 Obi-Wan Kenobi had a look at the role but even he decided it was beyond the Force to keep Gordon in power longer than 10 months!
Last chance 10:31pm on 02 Jun 2009 Ms Smith will not be missed, she is useless! The good people of Redditch will send her to the ranks of unemployed given the opportunity and she can then taste the real problems hard working people here in the UK have had to put up with from Brown and his useless band of lefties and lightweights!
Any politicians coming into office need to get the message, get on with the job of running Britian better and cheaper than before otherwise you will be out, no more messing around the people are angry!
What spending would you cut? 7:18pm on 24 Apr 2009 In these tough times we can also do without Trevor Philips and his Ministry of Fairness, all race relations, gender/sexual orientation issues and anyone getting funding from the public purse to promote or invent problems around these issues should have their public funding stopped now! If these issues are so important for them, then they can go raise the cash like charities do from those who wish to donate to them, although most people know that these issues are overhyped and in the real world outside of London there are never enough victims to go around or justify the huge waste of public cash taken up by these issues!
What spending would you cut? 6:11pm on 24 Apr 2009 Hold immediate referendums in Scotland and Wales with regard to the future of the Parliament and Assembly, the decision is simple, either to keep these talking shops open the Scots and Welsh have to pay for the full cost of both institutions with the loss of 95% of their MPs at Westminster as they are already over represented compared to the English who pay for more and get less, or close both institutions down and save the very significant costs of the parliament and assembly to help reduce public spending. If we really wanted to be bold we would sign a free trade agreement with the EU and withdraw from full membership, getting rid of expensive MEP’s and red tape, leaving just a beefed up embassy in Brussels to deal with the affairs of state, the savings would be huge and we could then target what’s left of our public funds to reduce our deficit and promote trade with emerging markets that will recover sooner than the tired old over taxed EU states.
We could also reduce further education positions by 50% to stop the drop outs and make these people work instead reducing the need for migrants, we could bring in a flat rate of tax up to £250k getting rid of tax credits and sacking all the civil servants who deal with this, dole is cheaper than their gold plated pensions, we could also ensure all overseas aid is tied to being spent via UK companies and thus benefit for our companies and the nation getting aid rather than the present Uk tax payer giving money for aid that is often spent elsewhere. There are lots of things we could do that are popular, effective, positive and good for the whole nation without the spite we saw the other day against those that are successful (bankers might deserve to be taxed more, hard working self made business people do not). Regrettably we will not see posiitve policies or forward thinking, because we have Brown and Darling who are only interested in the politics of envy, keeping their noses in the trough and following polices that failed in the 1970s!
What am I bid? 12:11pm on 09 Mar 2009 Clegg and Cable can dream on, the public do not want his policies and when he wakes up the day after the general election he will be sat on the same bench in the house of commons as he was before, all be it with a few extra mates who won labour seats!
The public have seen the Lib Dems getting all mately with Labour in Scotland, it didnt work and let the SNP in there, many have also experienced the massive costs to their council tax bills under the lib dems in local government, so having seen failure with labour and thinking of their family budgets in a recessionthe public will vote to ensure Cameron wins with a massive majority. Sorry Mr Clegg it's just not going to happen for you!
Are they bluffing? 11:33am on 28 Oct 2008 Neil Kinnock thought he had it in the bag here in the Uk right up to the moment the Tories won!
Obama is pure silk, but the Us people might pause as they place their mark, and McCain can still win because unlike the British who were fooled by Blair the US people do not like taxes and the fear of wealth being taken from them by Obama to give to those who simply cannot be bothered to work or earn will run very deep.
The US might want change, but they simply cannot afford Obama and his policies, 8yrs of him and the world will be left to China and Russia, so perhaps someone might notice this before the election deadline?
