By my calculations, and feel free to correct if I'm wrong, that equates to more than 3 texts messages every minute in the average month. That sounds ridiculous, even for teenage Americans!

Back on topic, using the word unlimited to mean limited, even with a star leading to the terms must constitute false advertising. What is the point of using the word unlimited at all? There must be something some consumer body can do about that...

I also doubt they will get away with restricting certain applications (such as Spotify) as mentioned in the article. I think they need to take a good hard look at their terms and conditions.
Who wins from an Orange iPhone? 1:02pm on 28 Sep 2009 NPerry0 you could say this is fairly good timing, as everyone who bought a 3G when they came out last June will be coming up for renewal in December.

I know I will seriously be considering switching to Orange, as O2 coverage around where I live is sketchy at best.

Surely some sort of mistake as that's around £250 difference. Nobody will pay nearly £900 for what is essentially a Netbook, even if they say it isn't.

Could that be any more of an understatement? Have a look at the Apple discussion forums (and the O2 ones) and you will find pages and pages of disgruntled customers.

That was a real shocker from O2 and I would guess that had nothing to do with trying to create a "heightened sense of anticipation", the company is not well organised enough to think up clever ploys like that...

Apparently people have phoned various O2 stores, Carphone Warehouse Stores, Apple and O2 customer services and have been given different information each time. Seems there was no thought put into this launch whatsoever.
