Shocking crime figures 08:28am on 24 Jul 2008 Anyone who thinks that people are deserting city centres and public transport at night obviously hasn't been out at night. I've never seen so many people around as I do now, and that's with nearly 30 years experience.

People believe what they want to believe and English people, for some reason that eludes me, want to believe the worst. They will continue to do so and I will continue to live me life regardless of their doom-mongering.
Find out how much your road tax will be.. 11:55am on 27 May 2008 Typical nuTory propaganda (like so much of the BBC these days). You only say find out how much "extra" you will pay. Well, my car tax has gone down to £35 and accroding to the website will be down to £20 next year. Sounds good to me.

Mapping the credit crunch 09:02am on 17 May 2008 Amazingly bad science here. Half of these things have nothing to do with the 'credit crunch'. My mortgage has gone done, and having just changed power suppliers so has my fuel bills. I am spending less in the supermarket by buying fewer things that are likely to be thrown away - but this has nothing to do with higher prices - more to do with trying to be less wasteful.
Where's my map?
You've Been Framed 6:46pm on 26 Apr 2008 But Briggate, why does one have to explain 'a more serious interest in picture taking'? Why can't we just take photos for no reason in particular other than the joy of taking them? Like going for a drive nowhere in particular...
