If it's any consolation, he seemed to be completely mesmerised by the atmosphere when walking out with Ryan Jones. I think that that memory will do him proud at least - even if I didn't.

Lots to choose from here, whilst (correctly) monitoring the binding in the scrum stringently, apparently a non-straight feed can't be seen by the referee or the touch judges.
The 'mark' is now redundant under the new ELV's and should be removed forthwith.
However, the winner has to be players getting pinged for not rolling away from the tackle when stuck under a pile of bodies. This has to change in the future. If you have four players over 96 kilos (approximately 15 stone in old money) lying on your legs, you won't be able to roll away from the tackle area. Witness Mike Tindall being sin-binned for this when it was impossible for him to extricate himself from the pile.

By "attitudes have improved", I meant to say, has the attitude towards the Womens' game improved since the last World Cup? I was not questioning the attitude of any of the England players or those from other countries.

Can you also provide some information on the size of the crowds at games over the Womens' World Cup? I'm hoping that they have increased from the last World Cup, and that attitudes have improved since last time, can you confirm?

Six Nations - a little something extra 5:21pm on 05 Feb 2009 Tom, I can't help with Scotland vs England, but am heading over to Dublin for the Ireland vs England game if you care to try that one instead?

I'd even let you bring Ben Dirs along too!

Talking of whom, will you (boys) be producing a video diary of the Six Nations? You could either create a new vidoe for each day of play, or a video per 'round' of fixtures.

Following the 2007 World Cup video diary success, I think this should happen.

Thoughts of Ben Dirs racing Lewis Moody (who would be on crutches and probably would still win) instead of Bryan Habana and cheetah recreations; further rounds of the internationally acclaimed game of 'Ubogu', or insightful trips to other gravestones of previous 6 Nations heroes warm the heart at the mere thought of them.

From joy to despair 12:45pm on 15 Jan 2009 One of my favourite goal celebrations involved Robbie Fowler with his 'White Lines' celebration against Everton in 1999.

It was particularly funny considering the stick he had been geting from the Everton fans.

Although, to hear Gerard Houllier try to explain the celebration as a "Cameroonian grass eating celebration that he learnt from Rigobert Song" is almost as funny.

I always thought that Dmitri Mascarenhas must have some Greek heritage somewhere along the line, until I did a quick bit of research to find that his family are of a Sri Lankan lineage.

Although born in Chiswick, is he the only England player in modern times (post 1900) to hold such recent Sri Lankan heritage?

Also, what is your view on the fact that the BBC cricket scoreboards do not currently show wides or no-balls in the bowler's figures?

I personally think they should be included, as even the humble village cricketer (of which I just about qualify for) has to include them. I could also mention the lack of notation surrounding captains and wicketkeepers, but am sure you will also have an opinion on these to!

Will the Wides and No-balls in the bowling figures be included within the on-line scorecards from these games; especially with the increased difference they make to the shorter forms of the game?
