EU watchdog for City? 12:07pm on 25 Feb 2009 I honestly thought that the headline in today's BBC news "Report Urges EU finance watchdog" referred to oversight and control of the millions each of the Euro MPs gets every year. Then reality hit home: would turkeys vote for Xmas?

We can then let he banking system that caused al this aggro in the first place rot in their own crap!!
A bank insurer, not a toxic bank 11:06am on 18 Jan 2009 It is frightening that the politicians and bankers who led us into this fiasco are still in charge and the politicians are still giving their banker friends taxpayers' money.

What I would like to know is that once the great financial genius that is Gordon Broon has finished helping his friends in the banking industry with massive amounts of money he does not have, and all the other cash injections, what my tax rate is likely to be in a couple of years?

Serbia's nationalists take a knock 11:02am on 12 May 2008 Am I missing something here, more than 50% of Serbians voted against closer integration with the EU, so how has closer integration with the EU won. You do not need degree in mathematics to work that out.

If they are wise they will learn from experience of other countries and reject the undemocratic, unelected EU which cannot, does not want to and is unable to even bring its corrupt MEPs INTO LINE.
