Is F1 heading back to North America? 3:19pm on 06 Aug 2009 Can't wait to see racing at the graveyard of champions again. Canada was always an incident filled race and probably my favourite track after Spa. Great to see fota setting the agenda and some common sense prevailing canda should have never gone in the first place.
Tevez a sound deal for Man City 09:59am on 14 Jul 2009 and for those who always want a pop or two at berbatov he is what he is reminds me very much of Teddy Sheringham's situation and we all know how that ended up.

As my point in my last post if Tevez is happier at city competing for a place in a team that has nothing to offer him other than ambition and more money rather than at OT where statistically speaking he's likely to get as many games as at city with the addition of owen in the squad then i for one am very happy he's not at united anymore.

Bottom line is Tevez is too much like Rooney and we all know which we'd prefer!
Tevez a sound deal for Man City 09:56am on 14 Jul 2009 You look at Tevez moaning about lack of games at OT last seasnon and you look at the number of forwards in the city squad and it doesn't add up why he would want to go a club with no history and haven't even won a half decent copper cup for ages. Ambition is fine - but he's swapping guaranteed european football for a club who probably may just get into teh Europa league with a bit of luck - two champions league finals including a winners medal and two league titles for absolutely noting. Money talks again!
Who will be market movers? 4:02pm on 30 Jun 2009 As a United fan I love Tevez and is effort well at least I did. But if he keeps coming out with all this carbage about Fergie not playing him and is quite happy to go to City given their recent signings and the fact he won't even be quaranteed to be on the bench it's a case of good ridance. But if a player like Tevez is happy to move for the money I wish they'd just be honest and say it. Gareth Barry has done exactly the same. If city want to recruit a bunch of mercinaries that don't care about the shirt then they're surely going about it the right way.
How Mosley lost F1 power battle 08:05am on 26 Jun 2009 Nice to see Moseley has the best intentions of f1 at heart by now stating he may not actually leave his role as president of the fia. Now peace has finally been reached why does he have to try and play god and why when f1 now has a future can he not keep just shut, leave and get on with it instead of constantly jeopardising it. It's no secret the teams wish to rid themselves of him and his politics but when you see how behaves no one can have anything but sympathy for fota. For a start why had he changed his mind now four times. He accuses fota of politiking but does exactly the same thing to quote the beeb article in the "letter leaked to the press"

Moseley clearly thinks he's bigger than the sport.
Brits in pieces 10:55am on 25 Jun 2009 It's interesting to think why we fail as a tennis nation - having played tennis as a kid it's not really the average guy or girls sport - it's a sport set up for the upper crust - all i can remember is getting kicked off the court when I was playing by the grown ups.

Thinking about the mens game who've we ever had that's any good, Murray, Henman and Rusdeski in the last 20 years.

Henman perfectly fits the upper crust tennis playing family and is the 1 in 1000 kid who's got the determination to make it.

Murray mum stuck her fingers up at the lta and coached him herself.

Rusedski is actually Canadian - and here's my point - if he actually was brought up in this country i don't think he'd have ever made it.

Twists and turns of breakaway row emerge 5:04pm on 23 Jun 2009 it's laughable moseley claims that he now needs to run for re-election as president of the fia because fota are undermining the fia - no fota seek to undermine moseley because he clearly lets the power of fia president get to his head. The FIA should have got rid of him last year when they had the chance.
By the way if the teams move f1 will not exist, surely that's plain to see with any racing without not just the big teams but all the big teams with the medium sized ones all their bar williams too. Does anyone really want to watch two williams and two force indias fight it out to decide who's the best manufacturer in the world while watching a bunch of nobodies (which is what they'll be too the general public) fight over 5th place - no guesses who'll win the f1 world championship next year if this happesn?
Joy and pain in Paris 11:05am on 12 Jun 2009 I think we'll see a second wind for Fed now, we started to see the pressure of not just getting 14 but having to beat Nadal to do it get to him in Melbourne.

Pressure is most definitely off - I think he'll loosen up and play as well as he's ever done at Wimbledon. He's still to beat Nadal in a Slam - what is it now 3 in a row for Nadal.

i hope Nadal not just plays Wimbeldon but is fully fit and we'll see a titanic battle not just at Wimbledon but to come.

Nadal obviously has the US to win to claim his "set", I hope he does it sometime in the next few years. As deserved as Fed's set, some would justifiably say he's had to adapt to grass and hardcourts more and he's beat Fed to win more than the just the French.

Man Utd right to sell Ronaldo 09:21am on 12 Jun 2009 How will history judge the Real teams of the last ten years - worthy galacticos or buying their way to european cup glory - and ultimately often failing. Compared to the great team of the 50's, Ajax, Bayern and dare I say as a United fan even the scousers - the treble winning teams of 99 and 09 poorly I'd say!
