Essential: You must be able to tell lies so that your scientific qualifications can be used to back up any claims your boss wants to make. Forget the science, Your advice isn't actually wanted or needed.

Warning: Being honest is a dismissable offence.

Will we miss the targets? 12:14pm on 23 Oct 2009 Things will never improve unless we try something completely different, the Zeitgeist movement has the only ideas that make any sense and I recommend everyone to at least research what it's all about.
An obsession with wealth 2:04pm on 16 Sep 2009 I am not sure what happened to my last comment but I think if people truly want a better society where greed and wealth no longer have the same effect on people's behaviour then everyone should start seriously looking into to the ideas of the people running the Venus project. Society will never change without a completely new idea.
Can governments squeeze bankers' pay? 07:24am on 08 Sep 2009 I think 'all' jobs should be given a 'fixed' valuation to society and then you start at minimum wage in the pay scale for that particular job valuation and if you are good at the job you can only ever reach the maximum pay for that job valuation. It would put an end to all of the, 'should nurses earn more than, policeman arguments' It would put an end to the ridiculous wages for footballers and TV hosts, It would put an end to crazy Bankers bonuses.
Corus, jobs and electricity usage 10:57pm on 25 Jun 2009 Well I for one certainly dropped my own Electricity usage by far more than 4% in the last year because I just couldn't afford the price increases.

Unfortunately I think the more we all keep on finding ways to cut down on our Electricity usage the more they just keep on raising the prices to maintain their profits and it's a vicious circle. Surely the drop in consumption could be nothing more sinister than the fact that millions of people are all doing exactly the same thing as me, if we simply don't have any way to find the money to pay the price increases then we have no choice but to keep on cutting down on how much we use.

"We blame the parents" 2:10pm on 02 Feb 2009 Well I would never say anyone should stay together ' for the sake of the children' .......but when couples part there are far too many women who seem to view the child as their 'property' and because of that they do everything they can to ensure the father cannot see the child any more.

I have not seen my daughter since she was five years old because of a wife like that......(she is 16 now) she moved three hundred miles away and deliberately made it impossible for me to have contact with my daughter. My solicitor at the time said it would probably cost me about another £5000 to sort out my rights to see my daughter because that doesn't get sorted out during the divorce.

I do not understand how a supposedly decent, 'caring' society can allow women to get away with it.

I can certainly understand the men who belong to the 'families need fathers' group who do all those stupid stunts trying to get some attention....but they are completely ignored ....nobody cares. nobody is interested. Nobody thinks it's important.
Your stories of unemployment 5:35pm on 14 Jan 2009 I think all well paid jobs should be shared........why have one person doing all the work and earning 'all' the money when an equally capable person is unemployed and doing nothing.
Your stories of unemployment 3:13pm on 13 Jan 2009 A friend of mine 'never' finds it hard to find a job and cannot understand why I do ..but he has something about him that people always take an instant liking to and I am sure that when he goes for an interview it's his charisma that wins him the job far more than his abilities or being the best person for the job......on the other hand I am a very shy, retiring sort of person that doesn't make friends easily....I cannot change the person I am so I will always struggle with finding jobs and being the one chosen at interviews.
