O2 Arena plays perfect host to season finale 7:37pm on 29 Nov 2009 I agree that the week as a whole was a wonderful success. I had the privilege to go for the Semis and the Finals and, while I was personally upset that Murray didnt make it (by one game!!!) to the Semis and Federer was disappointing and strangely detached from the game against Davydenko I did think that the spectacle itself was fantastic and it was great to be there at the inaugural tournament for London.

I look forward to coming back to watch more tennis for the next 4 years and hopefully beyond!! The big question now though is what do i do until the season resumes again in the New Year!?!?! Well apart from the Davis Cup final next week of course!
The Federer circus rolls into town - but not the village 3:29pm on 07 Aug 2008 I don't think it is an elitist gesture from Roger - I think, in a strange way that its because he cares so much about the olympics and winning the gold medal that he wants to give himself the best preparation possible. And like he said, it's not ideal to have people asking for your autograph 24/7 when your trying to relax away from the courts.

Also - in response to 'Yellowterror's comment -

"Let him enjoy the moment - its his last Olympics"

I hardly think you could be more wrong - Roger will be on Centre Court in 2012 defending his title from Beijing!!

And i do think he has a great chance of winning - he has the easier draw - no Djokovic or Murray, and if he beats Karlovic, which i think he will (revenge for last week) then hell be the one with the fresh legs over Rafa, Dkojer and Muzza who have all played a lot of tennis the last few weeks.

The odd couple unveil new shoes 02:58am on 06 Aug 2008 Thats got to be the strangest commercial decision in the history of...well...life itself!

Maybe they were talking about doing a duet at the Corn Exchange after the Olympics are over...;-P
