Wild about 'Arry 1:43pm on 14 Nov 2008 Harry's a great manager, let's make no mistake about that.

What he achieved at Portsmouth was incredible and I think he can take Spurs into the top four.

His teams also always play good football as well.

He should be England manager by now - any other nation would have have given a manager of his qualities the job.
Could Wenger shape new England? 3:29pm on 12 Nov 2008 I agree with Phil. I've always felt Wenger's been given undeserved criticism when it comes to giving young English players their chance.

Over the years, he shown with the likes of Cole, Richard Wright, Hoyte, Walcott, Bentley, Pennant, Upson and others that he's willing to give young players who have come through the youth system their chance when he feels they're good enough and is also willing to spend money on young English players when he feels they're good enough and worth the money.

He was also interested in Dean Ashton a few seasons ago but Crewe had a deal with Liverpool and was interested in Wright Phillips but not at £21m at the time. I'm sure there are plenty of others too.

From the current crop, Jack Wilshere is a star in the making. A natural footballer who, if he stays focussed, will be an Arsenal and England regular.
Who will avoid the drop? 4:41pm on 07 Nov 2008 Spurs will be fine, Harry will take them to mid table.

West Brom though I think will be in trouble. Looking at them, it's difficult to see where their goals are going to come from. So I think they'll end up going back down.

Bolton have the same problem and I think they'll go down too.

Joining them, in the end, I think will be Stoke. A great start, but when teams start dealing with the Delap throw in, they'll struggle.

So they're my three to take the dreaded drop.
Wenger must cure Arsenal frailty 4:00pm on 03 Nov 2008 I've just got a feeling that when Eduardo and Rosicky return from injury, things will pick up for Arsenal.

These are two excellent players who's quality and experience, I believe, would have made a real difference to Arsenal's season so far if they were fit.

There are also tiny details making the difference for Arsenal right now, things happening which won't happen in every game - Clichy sloppy in possession against Spurs, excellent Bentley and Jenas strikes, a Toure own goal.

I've still got a lot of belief in this Arsenal side and think the current players can turn this round and consistently produce the goods.

Over the next few weeks, they'll probably go on an unbeaten run and be top of the league!

Tottenham go back to basics 11:23am on 27 Oct 2008 As much as I feel Ramos could have turned it round, Redknapp is a manager of real quality who will certainly, without question, ensure Spurs don't go down.

I've always wanted to see what Harry could do at a big club, with a big budget and top class players because I really do believe he can create a side to challenge the usual top four.

Interesting times ahead for Spurs and Redknapp.
Liverpool send out title message 11:19am on 27 Oct 2008 I'm surprised by Liverpool's consistency in the opening games. However, I'm not convinced it will last all season.
Ramos facing Titanic struggle 2:26pm on 06 Oct 2008 I think the problem for Spurs is, where do you get a top class ball winner from? It seems to be a really difficult position for managers to fill unless you can find a Mascherano or a Makelele, but these players are few and far between.

He lost two of his most important players, Berbatov and Keane and the new signings need time to settle. He's also only been in the job for a year, which really isn't long enough to build and gel a side to compete in the Premiership and during the building process, there will be a lot of inconsistent performances. This is the reason why I think the board need to give him time.

When the likes of Pavlyuchenko start scoring, Spurs will climb the table.

I know Spurs wont even want to contemplate relegation, but they should know more than anyone that changing your manager every year at the first sign of trouble isn't the way to go.
Ashley's short-term gamble 7:05pm on 26 Sep 2008 Aslo, I don't think it matters whether Ashley made a popular choice on manager or not now because of the feelings of the fans towards him.

They would want him out whether he brought in Wenger, Kinnear or Claude Anelka.
