The Farming Today beehive 3:47pm on 14 May 2009 I don't know what to call your Queen Bee, but I have written a song with exactly that title. it's actually about a bumble bee (not a honey bee) that's been hibernating for the winter and is waking up and looking forward to founding a new hive. You can hear a large group of children singing it here...

Been hounded by the BBC for licence money? 12:40pm on 01 Apr 2009 I've not had a telly or a TV licence for well over a decade.
About once a year I get polite form letter asking me to confirm that I
still don't need a licence. I reply to this. About ten years ago an
inspector visited my house unannounced and I was happy to show him the
absence of television from my home. As a great fan of BBC radio, I am
quite happy to be subject to these checks. I've never felt hassled or
pursued. I would happily pay the cost of a colour licence for access to
Radio 4 alone. It seems like superb value to me and I'm amazed that
people moan about it.
