BBC HDTV: "The BBC's Bold Trial Of Reverse Karaoke!" 00:54am on 23 Jul 2008 Thanks for the very elaborate post. Now my follow-up question is then who might have been in charge of the decision not to air the two semi-finals from Belgrade on the Tuesday and the Thursday that week, one of which the UK was also voting in? These two transmissions would have helped to iron out any technical problems before the main night that was Saturday.

Instead the BBC HD channel showed the Chelsea Flowers show. It is not like the channel would be overflowing with new HD material and supposedly the HD feed would have been available to the BBC with no extra cost either on the two semi nights.

Please take them all next year, and maybe by the third night it will work.
BBC HD Eurovision Sound Problems 6:41pm on 20 Jun 2008 Still very disappointed for the poor quality of the Eurovision HD broadcast. There has been no mention of a repeat, which would be the least the BBC could do to us who like Eurovision. Is there any realistic chance of a repeat of the Eurovision final?
