MotoGP 2009 on the BBC 00:44am on 01 Feb 2009 Interesting views from previous postings. I think generally the plans from the BBC are well recieved and the commentary team are not.

From Eurosport, personally I found Julian Ryder incisive and always up to date both on and off track. He has always been an excellent number 2. Charlie Cox is a bore and doesnt really undertand bikes (he is an experienced bore though)

Tech3girl said "think that Charlie and Steve provide great commentary especially if you are just coming into the sport" - most of the audience arent new, I cant remember the last time a football commentator explained the rules...

Finally, Randy Mammola is good but so is Matt Roberts, no need to change.

The question is, will the BBC listen to the views of the fans or do they think they know better?

Wallabies devour undercooked England 11:39pm on 16 Nov 2008 Not being a big fan of the old kick and clap my nightmare was seeing the rugger lot win after we (England RL) had lost our semi final to New Zealand.

We were rubbish and the union lot are just as bad....

At we all stuffed the aussies in the olympics!
England Rugby League World Cup player ratings 11:26pm on 16 Nov 2008 That England would come up short against the Aussies was no surprise, what really discappointed me was our performances against the kiwis. I expected us to beat them fairly confortably.

Ade Gardner couldnt catch a ball, Higham and Roby couldnt pass one. No-one could kick it out of hand and as for our centres... I can't remember a worse defensive display..

Most of the time it was our own play not the opposition that undid us. The constant knock ons (in the semi) gave up field postions and the kiwis just played basic rugby to score.

Your assesments were fairly accurate, I felt sorry for Morley, Peacock and Graham but the rest got what they deserved.

My name is Gibbons and everyone thinks they are the first to use the "funky gibbons" joke. I think its 10,343 since the single was released.....

Funny names apart - your live commentatry was the best part of last summer, what with the terrible weather and my awful job.

Keep up the good work, and get over to Oz for the Rugby League World cup this autumn.
