Website problems 11:39am on 06 Nov 2009 One thing is for sure. There is no point complaing via Have Your Say as anything critical of the BBC is automatically rejected.
MPs' expenses: Your e-mails 3:14pm on 19 Jun 2009 I have been wondering why nobody has been prosecuted.

Now I have seen the available evidence I can see their problem.

Blogs on polling day 4:02pm on 05 Jun 2009 The EU elections were the most important event of the week yet I was unable to comment on Have Your Say.

Internet Explorer 8 (latest version) does not show the map so I was firstly excluded as I was unabe to post.

Then when I finally accessed it through a PC running IE7 my comments were rejected for no obvious reason and without explanation of any kind - certainly it did not break house rules.

The level of censorship is now so severe that HYS offers a biased BBC view on any important topic.
Moyes & Everton deserve glory 11:56am on 20 Apr 2009 Delighted for Moyes who has managed this without Utd's millions. But how typical that Ferguson, the ultimate bad loser, blames the pitch. When will he ever admit that his team were beaten instead of whining like a spoilt child.

Now a 4-0 win by Portsmouth at Man U on Wednesday would be just the ticket.

Should Lloyds pay a bonus? 5:01pm on 06 Feb 2009 The Board should be immediately dismissed for even considering paying themselves bonuses.

THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!

As a private shareholder (in addition to my taxpayer stake) whose Lloyds shares have crashed I shall be at the AGM making a lot of noise if this is on the Agenda.

Our government can expect riots in the streets unless they intervene and stop these greedy practices - we've all had enough.

A bloody disgrace.
New BBC weather site launched 1:20pm on 04 Feb 2009 About time too. The weather section of the BBC site (unlike the rest of it) is absolute garbage.
Why punish savers? 09:19am on 04 Dec 2008 A very good article but a couple of points need to be made.

It is not a foregone conclusion that the banks have to alter lending and savings rates by a similar amount. They could actually look at cutting overheads. Do they need all those people and fancy high street premises if business is down and online facilities are available? Certainly we don't need people "selling" credit and credit cards, and we don't need inadequate Chief Execs on big bonuses.

They've bled the public for long enough - now it's time for them to bleed.

Secondly, how about the Government giving us an incentive to save in the long term? I will not invest any more in pensions because:

1) the tax advantages for pension funds have been withdrawn by G Brown

2) I want an alternative to losing my life savings in return for a compulsory poor value annuity

3) I have absolutely no protection. As an Equitable Life policyholder I know that this government offers no protection at all for pension fund investors whilst it hurls taxpayers' money at Northern Rock et al. There will be some loud noises in the press if they shirk their obligations to compensate us for their failure.
Falling fish stocks 08:41am on 19 Nov 2008 As a recreational sea fisherman I'm more than aware of the drastic reduction of fish stocks all around our islands. At least 50% reduction in the last 20 years.

It is entirely down to the EU's policies and, of course, our membership means that all other EU countries have equal rights to waters close to our coasts. Our island has lost control of its most prized asset which is being regularly hoovered of fish by the likes of the Spanish factory ships.

The only areas where fish are still in healthy numbers are around Norway and Iceland - 2 countries outside the EU. We need to get out too!

Square rather than diamond shaped nets should be used. Discards should be banned - you catch it and it is part of your quota.

Finally, onshore gill netting is already illegal but not enforced - just take a walk along the beaches round the Solent and you will see them.
'Recession' - banned? 1:30pm on 24 Oct 2008 Adam_C_UK's comment at the top of this list is spot on!

The BBC has talked us into this recession from the very beginning. If it just reported fact rather than sensationalising we would not have anywhere near the problem.

Emblazened across the front page of the BBC Website is "Downturn Snapshot: The Day's Events".
