Hughes harshly treated by Man City 11:29am on 20 Dec 2009 Mark Hughes had enough time to produce the goods,especially spending 200 million and still not being close enough for the top 4,i think the owners must have thought we can challenge for the title this season rather than just get close to 4th,exciting times i reckon for Man City,the calibre of players that the club will attract will be of a higher level than before with Mancini in charge,I can definately see him spending big in January but he may not get rid of many players,I thing he has to do is sort the defence out for sure there defending like an under 12s team either they all run to close down one man or they all stand still waiting for someone else to close the ball down,they need to learn to attack as a team and defend as a team,the formation didnt really suit some players and I reckon Mancini will change it to a traditional 4-4-2 or 4-4-2 diamond,the only players i would be certain to keep would be Tevez,Bellamy,SWP,Barry,De Jong,Ireland,Lescott and Given,the rest of the players aint pulling there weight,they definately need a leader at the back someone like Dunne,Terry,Carragher theres not many of these defenders around at the moment,but they can go for the safe and cheap option like Upson or Roger Johnson or splash the cash on any of these Chiellini,Sakho,Zapata.Mancini is known to be a good man manager(he gets the best out of his players),look at Ibrahimovic he had his best years at the club with Mancini in charge,the sooner Robinho is gone the better his attitude and work rate is a disgrace and i cant blame Real Madrid for getting rid of him,another masterstroke it looks Wenger has pulled off with getting rid of Adebayor and Toure for 41m,Toures legs and defensive awareness look gone,Adebayor looked a snip at the start of the season scoring every week but he has faded since November with only a couple of goals to his name,Mancini may just be the manager that gets Adebayor back into his game,hurrying defenders,closing players down,beating them in the air,look at the Arsenal game this season he was absolutely awesome maybe even impossible to defend against,but the issue with him is whether he wants to play to win or play for a big paycheck,he is known as a big troublemaker he has caused problems at his 2 last clubs,De Jong has looked class in a Man City shirt maybe not as good as his 17m tag but definately should be kept along with Barry and Ireland,Micah Richards has gone downhill since 18 months ago,it looks a confidence issue with him

Only God knows how we havent put Uthapaa and Praveen kumar in the squad for the 1 dayers(they were 2 of the best players against australia in 1 day series)
Art for Arsene's sake 3:13pm on 10 Nov 2008 we showed last year we can win ugly but we have lost a few players who were fighters like senderos and flamini and these players werent replaced properly,last year we crossed the ball more often and used the long ball more often that together got us more points,while we just tried to play our normal way against stoke and created no chances while against hull we had enough chances to win 2 games and some chances against fulham
Wenger must cure Arsenal frailty 4:42pm on 03 Nov 2008 We saw from last season when the chips were down after the birmingham game no one stood up and took the games by the scruff of the neck(ie how vieira keane gerrard essien would have),we need the midfield enforcer to allow fabregas to roam free and a centre back who is tall enough to head set pieces away and not get out run by a yakubu or fuller,almunia this season has been poor and im not surprised to hear that wenger has had a look at michael landreau of france,seriously who do you reckon we will look at getting in,if villa are above us in january i can see us spending like we did when spurs were ahead of us(when we bought diaby,walcott and adebayor),the players i would look at are joe hart,landreau,wheater,dunne,laursen,barry,
makoun,appiah
