BBC HD: All new website and idents 09:40am on 01 Apr 2009 Will the Doctor Who special be shown in HD over Easter? I noticed that Golf was scheduled over the weekend so I'm hoping there might be a break at 7pm on Sat or Sun... any hints!?

Seriously though, very interesting to get an idea of everything that goes into a live HD broadcast.
"Immature Artists Imitate..." 4:28pm on 17 Jun 2008 I think it's great that the publicly funded BBC should have an open source attitude to its' code. But I'm sure the good people of Hungry don't pay their licence fees so why should they be allowed to plagerise the BBC?
Also, if the BBC is happy for others to use its' code, it should adopt some standard creative commons or open source licence around it, which would usually involve crediting the author and restricting the way they use the code. I think that until this is implemented the BBC should certinly prosecute companies which have infringed their copyright.
