Hansen and a welcome dose of nostalgia 1:25pm on 29 Oct 2009 I think Alan Hansen is the best football pundit in the country and Andy Gray is the best commentator. I am a United fan and agree sometimes MOTD does feel rather Liverpool heavy but I don't think they are very biased to Liverpool either. Hansen will slate any defending if he can Liverpool or not! Trying to think of ex United players who could bring balance to MOTD and I can't get Paul Parker out of my head and I don't think anyone wants that! Any ideas on ex United player anybody?
Your classic F1 season finale 09:29am on 29 Oct 2009 Good race choices but for next year please please can the BBC sort out the bandwidth issue somehow? We here love it when it is on Freeview on Thursday as it makes our F1 weekend longer and better. I don't know how you can improve this but it must be possible? Either that or use BBC 3 during the day when it is not being used?
Is there a flaw in the 2012 legacy pledge? 4:46pm on 27 Oct 2009 In the UK the likes of Seb Coe, Daley Thompson, Kelly Holmes, Steve Redgrave come to mind and beyond these shores Jessie Owens, Carl Lewis, Mark Spitz, Natalia Commonechie, Michael Phelps and Michael Johnson are just a few that come to mind.

Is there a flaw in the 2012 legacy pledge? 3:48pm on 26 Oct 2009 'As to Sport; there are only 2 sports events worth Government money - the World Cup & the Olympics: They are the only 2 events that most people would know who the winners were in 10 years time.'

I think many people remember the F1 champions and who remembers the 50km Gold medal winners
Is there a flaw in the 2012 legacy pledge? 3:45pm on 26 Oct 2009 Makes me laugh about people going on about my spelling, ok it was not great but in fairness to me I was on the phone and working out prices at the same time. Makes me laugh that rather than argue people pick on things that are irrelevant to the argument. Bless nothing to argue back with I suppose.

Oh and F1 was just an example for the government to put money in to. All grass roots sport needs money but my point is all this money to be in for 3 weeks worth or sport and then pull lots of it down. Seems a waste to me.
