Review of the week 4:58pm on 27 Jun 2009 Haven't we suffered enough? Do us Newcastle fans really need you kicking us while we're down too? Less of the overused jokes please. If it was more original I'd be laughing too. But the same tired old jokes again and again, and now the mods on 606 aren't bothering anymore and the Newcastle forum is being flooded with abuse and repeated jokes from rival fans. I really feel like just leaving 606 and returning to only pub banter if things don't improve.
Fixture and frettings 3:17pm on 18 Jun 2009 Boro have some stability in the Championship. Newcastle do not. We need to get sold, and fast! Until then I see us falling further... unless we rid ourselves of the dross which currently doesn't care how well they play!

Many Newcastle fans are trying to look at the positive.... at least we'll be rid of the overpaid, talentless wasters at our club (hopefully). You put it pretty much spot on what we've all been thinking for the past few seasons.
No excuses for Newcastle 3:24pm on 25 May 2009 Reading through this article, the words "well duh!" sprung to mind an awful lot. Could you please write something more than what we all already know? I'd like to read some quality journalism on this topic. I would refer you to George Caulkin of The Times for an example of quality analysis on this topic. Hopefully this will improve the quality of your writing.

Oh and #100, it's spelt "tripe". Fans like you... I'm glad to see the back of. You make football seem like such an uncultured man's game.

I don't want that. It's the only entertaining thing happening at the top end of the table. Race for the title has become pretty stale and boring in my opinion. If Liverpool had won I might have sat up and taken notice.... but not with the guy in black playing in Ferguson's team.
Brave Shearer gives Newcastle hope 12:15pm on 12 May 2009 Viduka was great, Martins plays with great passion and Lovenkrands is playing like a lad with something to prove. Owen on the other hand is playing like a lazy, old waste of space. Sooner we get rid of him the better if you ask me.

There is no argument in the world that could possibly justify Owen's wages for what little he delivers on the pitch. No heart, no passion, no ability without someone putting it on a plate for him (and even then he's been sending those chances skywards over the past 5 or so games.)

Also, gotta agree with #85. I think Shearer just has an instinct about football. He's shown that during his career on the pitch... is it too much to think that perhaps he'll have something close to it in management? He didn't poke a finger blindly at a piece of paper and make the decision that luck decided. He thought what he wanted to do, and it paid off. So give credit to the man for making the right choice and less of this luck or fortune favours the brave nonsense. The boy done good!!! Well done Alan!

And some people wonder why nobody likes a glory supporter?
You know Robbo, I'm surprised that the Blue Bell allows the glory hunters in. The places me and my mates go to watch the footy turn all glory supporters away at the door and tell them to stop wasting their time and others.
