All hail Sky. At least now we can go back to the unilateral control of Sky sports. A sad day when the sports broadcasting is returned to a single controller.

Incorrect. The US based Fed-Ex cup carries no points for the Ryder cup whatsoever. Poulter put this ahead of the Johnie Walker purely for Dollar$.

The whole point of the captains pick is that you go with something other than stats, you go with your gut and Clarke is coming into good form.

Poulter has won nothing this season, Darren has got 2 cups in the bag. Poulter has missed the cut a few outings on the spin now.

Faldo is playing to a different form guide than the rest of us. Poor choices IMO.

EU crisis talks begin 3:33pm on 16 Jun 2008 #15 wopitt, yes there are serious legal implications of making concessions to us in order to try and push it to a Lisbon II. What about the countries that have already ratified? I believe that it would have to be re-ratified in those countries. This is a minefield the EU does not want to go down.

It makes me cringe that we are left out to dry on the scrapheap of Europe because other nations leaders were too spineless to put it to their people.

We have taken a serious bashing over this, in the name of democracy and the voice of the people. I hope this does not go unnoticed and is appreciated.
