In my case it's because I am forced to pay for this biased output that I don't want, by way of the poll tax that is the licence fee.

I don't mind paying for the BBC if it sticks to its charter and remains unbiased. My (admittedly biased) interpretation of the political output from much of the BBC is that it does not meet the requirements of the charter, save for The Daily Politics and This Week.
