Change looks like it's going to be hard with over zealous censoring and no freedom of speech. All i can hope is that change does eventually occur.

The right move for Robinho? 12:28pm on 02 Sep 2008 Tim great article! I always enjoy hearing about world football. I think Robinho is either going to be absolutely awesome or just crumble. I think Man City paid over the odds for him he's played 101 league games and only scored 25 goals. Okay he wasn't playing out and out striker but look at Ronaldo, he can score 40 in one season comapred to Robinho who can only get just over half that amount in 4 seasons. I just don't see world class based on those stats.
Beijing picks provoke Facebook fury 8:37pm on 24 Jul 2008 I think sometimes the selections sometimes miss the obvious. It seems to be quite a lot of time they look at potential rather then current ability because of 2012. I do wonder if we had lost 2012 whether we would be sending as many young athletes. It seems unfair on those who are doing well when it matters.

It also is so unfair on those who have tried so hard for their lifetime and maybe only have one shot but some rising star goes and steals it.
Endurance test for Lord's fans 11:01pm on 13 Jul 2008 Twenty20 cricket has just seemed to me for people who can't quite concnetrate on a whole day or 5 days. I must admit it's entertaining but tests have always seemed to make and break teams for me. It seems to take something special to be a good test player whilst twenty20 it seems to be just slog it and it favours batsmen. Test cricket involvs so much stratergy which Twenty20 doesn't have.

However as Jonathan Agnew said if the finance from Twenty20 cricket is distributed properly I think the whole game will benefit.
Does Hazel hold Everton's purse strings? 4:18pm on 13 Jul 2008 I think people are worried with Tesco's involvement because they somehow think they are going to have control over the ground, sponseship etc.

Whilst I dislike Tesco (just too big) I'd take them on to finance a stadium.

However I look at the photos and it seems to lack ambition. Where's that signature over the top peice of architecture that going to make it memorable. Whilst we almost always think they look awful it at least makes it memorable.

It looks like a Stamford Bridge replica. Similar capacity similar structure and boring. It also seems that something bigger may have supported them for the future but whether they have enough fans who are willing to pay I don't know.

Man Utd should sell 'slave' Ronaldo 11:26pm on 11 Jul 2008 I am now seriously getting tired of him saying one thing one second then another the next trying to lengthen the saga. He's just trying to keep on the good sides of both clubs and it's tiring me. I'm still confused as to why he signed a new contract a year ago if he wanted this. I'm also starting to think what we could do with a nice amount of cash and some of Madrid's players.

I'm not even sure how he would do in the Spanish game. In the Euro's he didn't look anything special he looked good but not special and similar football will be played in Madrid. How is Madrid a step up?! who won the CL last season? That's right United!

Plus would the pressure get to him of playing for his 'dream' club. He could well become the biggest flop in football if Madrid were to buy him.

Mr Blatter getting involved as well just bit the biscuit for me. What right does he have to go making comments like that (don't anyone dare say head of FIFA).

Just sell him cash in on him and when he flops buy him back for loads less and then he'll recreate his form.

I want this done as soon as possible so we can concentrate on the new season.
