Open post: Thursday, 10 September 2009 10:46pm on 11 Sep 2009 Although the BBC has said that it'll be fixing iPlayer on the Nintendo Wii 'later in the year' can you not be more specific? Someone on the message boards got an e-mail from Opera saying that it was 30 minute fix at the most.
The BBC Red Button Page Number List 2:22pm on 11 May 2009 When Ceefax finally closes will we see the end of the 4 digit page numbers on the red button? Aren't they just there to highlight services that aren't available through Ceefax?

BBC News radar 5:03pm on 02 Apr 2009 I have to say I think it's a fantastic page, something I've wanted to see for years. I've had it favourited since I first read about it ages ago and I've been going back to it nearly every day.

I've discovered loads of regional stories that are of interest to me and I never would have read given the fact that most are aimed at people in other regions.

I would be great if one day we could see a mini version to the right of the BBC News homepage displaying 3 stories rather than having that ticker at the top of the homepage which only displays select stories.

One little bug (or at least I think it's a bug) I've noticed is that every so often a BBC Newsline box comes up but there's nothing in it. When I click on it it usually comes up with the latest Newsline programme or weather report, but you can't tell this from the radar.
BBC Red Button in the Freeview EPG 1:47pm on 16 Mar 2009 I'm glad you've done this as it's very useful and much easier to use with a PVR.

Could you not actually name the channels 'BBC Red 1' and 'BBC Red 2' etc in the EPG so people could realise that it is possible to get access to the channels without having to press red. '301', '302' etc just looks messy.
Interesting Stuff 2009-03-03 8:47pm on 03 Mar 2009 No, keep the posts that have random bits of info together under the heading "Interesting Stuff" and then as you already do, give the in-depth posts an appropriate title. That way people don't get confused and potentially miss info they might have found interesting.
News on the go 9:40pm on 25 Nov 2008 For me I tend to have the BBC News Channel on during the day when there's nothing else on. I'll certainly watch it more than I would a regular news bulletin on BBC1. What I don't like about the channel is the way it gives up at the weekend and shoves half hour programmes like The Weather Show and the utterly useless Your News. I don't understand why the running news service can't be continued during the weekend! (Although Click is greatly appreciated!)

If I've just come in and I can't be bothered turning the laptop on I'll get the headlines from BBCi, though I agree that articles should go into more depth than the two pages of info and the two "In More Depth" articles.

On my old phone before Vodafone started charging for even the most limited internal WAP sites I'd quickly use ITN's page to get the latest, though reading a large article on a small screen has never appealed to me. I've visited BBC News on my mobile once or twice but still the charges put me off, even if it is a few pence! I'd only really use it if I was in the middle of nowhere for a good few hours and desperately wanted to know something.

I can't comment on the radio since I never listen to it.

As for that advert, it's good but you have to remember that not *that* many people really know how to navagate a mobile browser. It took me ages to work out how to input a URL. All the advert says is that it's possible to access BBC News on your phone and then gives the URL. Perhaps you could direct people to a website that would give advice on how to actually input an address on your phone.
Freesat Radio 2:37pm on 10 Oct 2008 Hahaha! I remember seeing that promo and thinking "What on earth is the point in seeing the radio?!" I guess I just assumed that we'd be watch radio dramas on small portable televisions!
Interesting Stuff 2008-08-26 6:11pm on 26 Aug 2008 I thought the BBC Trust ruled out this series stacking thing when it was proposed that the iPlayer would have programmes for the last 13 weeks and they went on about DVD sales being affected?
