Warren gambling big with Khan 09:23am on 13 Mar 2009 Even if Barrera is 'shot' this is a HUGE gamble for Khan but fair play to the kid for taking the fight. I for one will NOT be paying the rip off 'Sky Box Office' money to watch it but wish him the best of luck.

Odds on Olazabal? 09:37am on 14 Jan 2009 Whilst I hope Olly will get the job at some point, if he REALLY thinks he can still play in the team, will his heart be in it 100%?
I would give it to Sandy Lyle this time round, he deserves it and it has to heppen so why not now and Olly next time.
Kangaroos in a league of their own 3:25pm on 27 Oct 2008 Maybe if Australia had to rely on players ONLY born in Australia but the other countries were allowed to keep all the 'ringers' that they have, that may be a decent way to handicap them.
I am only half joking about this - I am disgusted with the way that players seem to play for what ever country they feel like in League, it makes amockery of wearing the international shirt. I give you Mark Calderwood and the two Tongans as examples, MC was selected to play for Scotland but when he found out he was in with a chance of playing for England, he dumped Scotland and jogged of to the England camp - WHAT A JOKE, the 2 Tongan boys BOTH played for NZ a couple of years ago but now that they are not good enough to get a game for NZ, they are back with Tonga. INSANE
Magic moments 10:14am on 18 Sep 2008 My favourite moment was all of the action in the velodrome. For our cyclists to win 12 of the 13 events is amazing. I would like to say well done to every British athlete that won a medal or did a P.B or just performed better than expected.
US up for the Cup but first it's time to talk 10:05am on 16 Sep 2008 I never thought I would see the words 'charm offensive' and Nick Faldo in the same sentence. I can't stand the man but I will be shouting for our boys (even without Clarke, which still annoys me)

The crowd will be their usual silly selves, screaming 'get in the hole' for drives off all the par 4's and 5's but the European guys just need to smile and tip the cap as they beat the Americans BADLY.

That will be the best way to keep the crowd quiet. I predict an easy European win, USA have 6 rookies and cannot live with our boys in my opinion.

Ryder Cup lowdown 3:19pm on 15 Sep 2008 I have the Friday afternoon booked off work and have booked the TV (and whole living room) for the weekend - Beer, food and lots of shouting will be the order of the day. I will be glued to every shot (I am not too toght to pay for the SUPERB Sky coverage.
Apart from me missing Clarke a bit, I will be screaming my head of for Europe.

China switches to Paralympic mode 1:02pm on 05 Sep 2008 This will be a strange viewing experience for me - Paralympics without Tanni, that's just not right :)
I wonder if Tannis is missing being an athlete now that she is at the games? I am sure she does not miss the training :)
I can't wait for it all to get started, I love the Paralympics just as much as the Olympics.

Keegan exit turns heat on Ashley 4:45pm on 02 Sep 2008 As an Arsenal fan I see myself as blessed when it comes to the board room, our guys leave the manager to manage and let the coaches coach. Ashley and anyone else at Newcastle over the last number of years seems to be clueless and it appears they are not willing to TRUST a manager to run their football club.
I feel sorry for the Geordies, they will bring in a new manager and all the right things will be said but how long will the next guy last?
They don't deserve the great supporters they have that's for sure. See ya Kev, it's been fun :)
