Wenger boys against men 4:39pm on 30 Nov 2009 Vamaelen ended his goal drought which I thought was nice, we all talked about his finishing ability, he scored plenty of goals and when Drogba scored his wonderful goal I thought it was a real strikers finish then to see Vamaelen top it, it was quite impressive.

Well, there still isn't but for his first time in the show he was very professional! Lescott and Rooney sound like a quality two players to bring in, I guess you'll be adjusting your list to put Rooney at the top then when he's on the show? :D top read, a sarnie with no sauce though, WHEN WILL THE BBC LEARN!?
France, not Ferguson's successor, should be Blanc's future 6:09pm on 17 Nov 2009 Madrid would give us a run for our money about taking Blanc, but after a season he'd be sacked, the French job? I think he's a bit too young and would rather stay with his club where he's doing a fantastic job. I think by the time Fergie retires we'll be getting Pep Guardiola to replace him, Barcelona are a little more stable than Madrid and so Pep will have a good few years there but will disposed of and by then SAF maybe retiring. I don't really care how long he takes, Fergie should be there for longer than life!!
Review of the week 6:20pm on 13 Nov 2009 Cole-gate that made me laugh loads, it's sheer quality, I wish there was a scenario for me to use it, I imagine it would've made me a God amongst men :D
England understudies can shine in Qatar 12:13pm on 13 Nov 2009 I don't get how people want Joe Cole in the line up but not Owen? Cole hasn't really done anything significant since his return, Owen has bagged winners and had good games and has proved his fitness. I might be a little bias here but i'd take Foster ahead of Robinson, Robinson has conceded so many for Blackburn that it's just worrying more than anything and before you question the two teams in comparison, Foster was outstanding for Watford so he's played for a poor team too even if I do think Blackburn are better. Injuries are a problem for England currently, Lampard being injured may be a sign of things to come (he's at that age now!!) there's still a good 6 months for Hargreaves, Owen, Ferdinand, Cole, Gerrard etc... to prove their worth and fitness.

Getting shirty with Cristiano Ronaldo 11:39am on 12 Nov 2009 Haha great blog, loving all the United players in there, it's amazing how many great players this league has had, like others have mentioned, Bergkamp, Cantona, Zola, Shearer, Scholes etc... it's just impossible to make an all time 11.

So all challenges are either fouls or dives? No such thing as a trip? A 50-50| Everything is that simple and there are no disagreements? That's odd, you think it wasn't a penalty yet others, even none United fans, think it was, flawed logic there surely?

As for last nights performance, I thoroughly enjoyed it, at 3-1 down I had a suspicion that we would pull it back, something inside me told me we would but when I thought logically I thought nah, CSKA are too good not to hold on, guess I was wrong, what a game. VDS did make a mistake yesterday but he's been solid since he came back from injury, we should all be looking at a centreback if Rio doesn't pull out his finger, you'd never think this side set a premier league record.

Pellegrini's future still in the balance 2:16pm on 03 Nov 2009 Great blog, I agree with Clough, if the manager gets sacked so should the person who appointed him, Madrid are a disgrace in the way they treat their managers, you'd have to either think you're the greatest manager ever to take over that club or that you're in it for the money because after less than a year you know you'll be sacked, with no consistency they'll never match the success of what Barce had last year, no matter how good their team is on papaer, the Barce team have come through their youths and have close ties to the club instead of a fabricated dream of wanting to play for Madrid and when they finally do, they don't bother putting in the effort.
