How can you say that Ngog's goal was important. It was recorded at 90 minutes + 6. Time added on was 5 minutes. So effectively it was game over before the goal. Now, had the goal been scored at the other end, we wouldn't be hearing the last of it, would we?
Benitez faces biggest test 6:31pm on 21 Oct 2009 SAF and MU will be wary this weekend of a badly hurting Liverpool. They'd be mad to think otherwise. I am sure they will go to Anfield and treat Liverpool with full respect as though they are at full strength.

When I talk about respect, I also mean, [MU players] not kissing the corner flag camera when sticking one in at the kop end. Still makes me vomit when I see that shot of Gerrard!
England cannot replace Rooney 7:16pm on 14 Oct 2009 Why is it that when the world cup comes around, we are always talking about just one player. It used to be Gazza, then Beckham, then Owen, now Rooney. Now call me old fashioned if you like, but isn't football a team sport?

Everyone wrote off Man Utd's chances of regaining the Premiership with the departure of the irreplacable C Ronaldo. Doubtless his talent is missed, but United are playing more as a team again. Not saying they will win the Prem, but certainly not fading away like many predicted.

I'd rather Rooney was fit and in form for the world cup, just as I'd rather Joe Cole, Lamps, Gerrard, Terry, Defoe, Ferdinand, Owen, Hargreaves and Bent were. Struggling to name a world class GK in there. Damn it I wish Torres was a scouser too! At least his hairdo suggests it's a possibility ;)

What an irrelevent comment. I certainly wouldn't begrudge an article like that about Rush or Dalglish in years gone by. Nor would I about Gerrard or Carraigher in years to come. I have great respect for those four players.

I think the article was mostly pointing out that the kind of loyalty and dedication to the game that Giggs has shown is rare and thus a great shame. As a supporter I love football first and my club second. Giggs is exceptional in that he loves football and his club in equal amounts.

Do you really think that 70.000 fans make the trip to Old Trafford for home games from South of the M4? Personally it takes much less time to get to Old Trafford than it does to Brunton Park, from the South Lakes. That's coz the roads in Cumbria are sh$te! Despite Cumbria Tourist Board being the highest earning tourist board in the country, all our taxes go south of the M4 to pay for stupid upside down woks in Landen !!

Review of the week 2:02pm on 10 Jul 2009 To Fathomer1. I will be happy to debate whether Fergie's acquisition of Owen is a blooper or not a couple of months into the new season. Any honest Liverpool fans who I have had the pleasure of chatting with even respect SAF for his achievements. Perhaps you should too, as he's made so few bloopers that it hardly registers compared to his success !
Why now for Shearer and Newcastle? 5:03pm on 01 Apr 2009 I'm sure this is an April Fool. If not, then I wish Alan and Newcastle all the best and hope that they avoid the drop. The premiership needs Newcastle. A club with huge passionate support.
